Alpha Day 3 Live Update: YRF's Actioner Eyes 30+ Crore Weekend After Growth On Saturday

Mumbai, July 5 - Yash Raj Films' latest spy actioner Alpha is showing encouraging signs at the box office as the film witnessed a decent growth on Saturday collections. After opening to a decent response on Friday, the Alia Bhatt and Sharvari-led actioner saw growth of around 25% on Saturday, collecting an estimated 11.50 crores net.

Despite the largely mixed word of mouth, the film is doing well among the fans of Spy Universe as the movie is now expected to comfortably target a 30 crore-plus opening weekend in India, giving the female-led action entertainer a good start in theatres.

Set within the expanding YRF Spy Universe, Alpha has attracted audiences with its high-octane action sequences, stylish visuals, and the fresh pairing of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in powerful action-driven roles. The film's Saturday jump indicates growing interest among urban audiences and multiplex viewers, especially in metro cities.
