Awarapan 2 OTT Release Date: Where to Watch Emraan Hashmi's ₹213 Crore Worldwide Grosser Online

Awarapan 2 has arrived on OTT after a commercially successful theatrical run that brought Emraan Hashmi back to the forefront of the box office. Released in cinemas on August 14, 2026, the romantic action drama reunited audiences with Shivam Pandit, the character that helped the original Awarapan develop a cult following over nearly two decades. Directed by Nitin Kakkar and also starring Disha Patani, the sequel benefited from nostalgia surrounding the franchise, particularly during its opening weekend.

The film registered a strong opening and went on to become Emraan Hashmi's first ₹100 crore India net grosser, marking a significant career milestone for the actor. Its initial theatrical momentum reflected the audience interest generated by the return of the franchise, although collections slowed considerably in the following weeks. Despite the decline, Awarapan 2 crossed ₹200 crore worldwide, making its theatrical performance an important achievement for the actor and the franchise. With its cinema run largely complete, the film is now available for audiences who missed it on the big screen.
