The franchise hit a new peak with Golmaal 3 in 2010, which became a Blockbuster with a worldwide gross of 162 crore. The most recent entry, Golmaal Again in 2017, remains the highest earner of the series, grossing roughly 309 crore worldwide. With a combined total of over 600 crore from four films, the expectations for the fifth part are naturally quite high. The makers are currently aiming for a massive theatrical release in early 2027. This timing is intentional, as it will mark the 20th anniversary of the franchise that started it all.
