Hyderabad, August 25 - Ravi Teja's Irumudi is continuing its impressive run at the worldwide box office, with the film showing an excellent hold on its first Monday. Released on August 21, the Shiva Nirvana directorial has benefited from positive audience word of mouth and is emerging as a major comeback success for the actor.
The film collected around 12.35 crore net (14.35 crore gross) in India on Monday, taking its India net total to approximately 62.40 crore, while India gross has reached around 73 crore in 4 days. The overseas gross stands at approximately 15 crore, for the worldwide cume to around 88 crore in 4 days. This makes it the biggest grosser for Ravi Teja, beating Dhamaka (82+ crore gross).
The Monday hold is particularly significant considering Irumudi had already enjoyed a strong opening weekend. In fact, the Monday collection of the film is higher than most of Ravi Teja's films' opening day, which speaks a lot. In Telugu states, the film has grossed around 63 crores, including 13 crores on Monday. The film had already achieved several milestones during its opening weekend, including a 72+ crore worldwide gross by the end of Day 3.
