Hyderabad, August 22 - Megastar Chiranjeevi is back in a full-blown mass avatar with his upcoming film Kaaka, the official title of Mega 158. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film's title glimpse has now been unveiled, giving fans their first extended look at the world, character and mass appeal of the much-awaited project. The glimpse packs humour, action and Chiranjeevi's trademark swagger while promising a high-voltage commercial entertainer.
The glimpse introduces Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor associated with the aqua industry. What begins as a light-hearted sequence involving a dog, a magnetic remote and scooter keys in a prawn lake quickly takes a dramatic turn when guns emerge from the water. The sudden transition from comedy to explosive action sets the tone for what Bobby appears to be creating with Kaaka.
The glimpse is clearly designed to showcase Chiranjeevi in multiple shades while retaining the mass elements his fans expect. The film also comes with an impressive technical lineup. Thaman is composing the music and has incorporated a remixed version of the popular Gang Gang song from the cult classic Gang Leader. Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling cinematography, while the project is produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions.
The combination of Bobby's commercial filmmaking and Chiranjeevi's larger-than-life screen presence has already generated considerable buzz. Kaaka is scheduled for a January 13, 2027 release, making it one of the major attractions of the Sankranthi 2027 season. Following the energetic title glimpse, expectations are high for the film to deliver another full-fledged mass entertainer from Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli after their previous collaboration, Waltair Veerayya.
