Mumbai, August 24 - Makers have unveiled the first look poster of Ajay Devgn-fronted Drishyam 3, giving fans their first glimpse at the final chapter of the popular crime-thriller franchise. The intense poster focuses on Devgn's eye, while the words "Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai" underline Vijay Salgaonkar's unwavering priority of protecting his family. The poster also carries the film's theatrical release date, October 2, 2026.
The release date has been re-confirmed with the poster, putting an end to any uncertainty surrounding the film's theatrical arrival. Drishyam 3 will hit cinemas on October 2, 2026, continuing the story of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family after the events of Drishyam 2. The date had earlier been officially announced by Ajay Devgn, with the makers teasing the final chapter with the tagline "Aakhri hissa baaki hai."
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film brings back Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran, while Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj are among the notable additions to the cast. The Hindi version has now completed its shoot and entered the post-production stage. Interestingly, the makers have indicated that the Hindi Drishyam 3 will not simply replicate the Malayalam version.
Director Abhishek Pathak has said that the Hindi adaptation features a different track and will lean more towards a family thriller, with the story and twists altered significantly for the Hindi audience. With the first look now out and the October 2 date firmly locked, Drishyam 3 is set to become one of the major Hindi releases of the 2026 festive season. The big question now is whether Vijay Salgaonkar can once again stay ahead of the police — or whether the final chapter will finally expose his secrets.
