The film is bringing real carnage in the home state, Kerala, where it is challenging all-time biggest blockbusters. On the second Thursday, it grossed a stunning 8.50 crores, pushing the total extended first week gross to 57+ crores in the state. It is already among the biggest grossers in Kerala.

The movie is now certain to enter the 100 crore gross club in Kerala, and it will be very close to this milestone at the end of the second weekend. So far, only two films have managed to hit the mark - Lokah Chapter 1 and Thudarum, and Vaazha is set to become the third film to achieve this rare feat.
