The Viktor Zanov name belongs to Aaron Fara, an Austrian judoka who competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics before making the transition into professional wrestling. Fara represented Austria in the men's 100kg division and also competed in the mixed team competition.
After moving into WWE's developmental system, Fara was given the Viktor Zanov name and began appearing on WWE EVOLVE.
Zanov has also been working alongside fellow former Olympic judoka Shido Ash, whose real name is Shady Elnahas. The two have been presented together on EVOLVE as WWE continues to develop them as professional wrestlers.
