Kochi, December 19 - Malayalam star Dileep's action comedy film Bha Bha Ba, also featuring superstar Mohanlal in an extended cameo role, has stormed the box office with the second biggest opening for a Malayalam title in Kerala, beating many biggies. Directed by Dhananjay Shankar, Bha Bha Ba delivered a big opening day of 7.20 crores gross as the second biggest Mollywood title in the state, behind only Mohanlal's Empuraan (14+ crores gross), and tied with Odiyan, which is also a Mohanlal-starrer, practically making it a hat-trick for the megastar. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Overall, the Dileep-fronted had the fifth biggest opening in Kerala, after Empuraan, Leo (12 crore), Coolie (9.75 crores) and KGF: Chapter 2 (7.30 crores). Additionally, Bha Bha Ba grossed approximately 70 lakh in the rest of India market, making it a 7.90 crores gross opening domestically. At the overseas box office, the film grossed approximately 7 crores for the worldwide opening day cume gross of nearly 15 crores. This makes BBB the 10th biggest Mollywood opener worldwide.
