Mumbai, October 2 - The year 2024 has been super successful for the Malayalam cinema, and one of the standout films to come out from the Mollywood industry has been megastar Mammootty's period folk horror Bramayugam. ## Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, Bramayugam received extremely positive reviews from critics upon its release in February this year. It is now ranked as one of the best horror movies of 2024 (so far) by Letterboxd, an online social cataloging service for films. ## According to the average Letterboxd member rating, Bramayugam is the second-best horror movie of 2024, behind The Substance, an international co-production between the United Kingdom, the United States and France (as of October 1st). ## Bramayugam is the only Indian horror movie of the year to feature in the Letterboxd's top 10 movies.
