Summoned by a shadowy figure named Moothon, who controls other superpowered entities worldwide, her presence hints at a much larger conflict brewing in the shadows. The film blends everyday realism—rent, illness, and vulnerability—with mythic fantasy, creating a superhero origin story that feels grounded yet epic. Beyond its supernatural thrills, the movie is praised for breaking away from typical hyper-masculine, nationalistic superhero tropes by offering a female-led, progressive narrative rooted in folklore and emotional depth.
