Thamma Alok Goyal, a timid television journalist who often fabricates tales of bravery for his reports, finds himself stranded in a dense, foreboding jungle during a routine assignment. As night falls, he is viciously attacked by a ferocious bear, but his life is miraculously saved by an enigmatic woman named Tadaka, who dispatches the beast with superhuman strength. Grateful yet terrified, Alok follows Tadaka to her hidden realm, where he discovers she belongs to the Betals—a clan of ancient vampires haunted by the atrocities they witnessed during India's 1947 Partition. Scarred by humanity's savagery, the Betals swore off drinking human blood under a sacred decree enforced by their leader, the Thamma. However, whispers of dissent brew as the imprisoned former Thamma, Yakshasan, plots his vengeful return from a cursed cave, challenging the fragile peace of their immortal society. As Alok delves deeper into this supernatural world, he uncovers his own unforeseen connection to the Betals through a forbidden romance with Tadaka, igniting ancient prophecies and familial curses that pit love against loyalty. Yakshasan breaks free, unleashing chaos by rallying rogue Betals to resume their bloodlust, forcing Alok into an epic confrontation where he must shed his cowardice.
