Toxic Review of Reviews: Critics call Yash's comeback loud, violent and hollow

Ten rated reviews put Toxic at 38 out of 100, the lowest score of any wide release Sacnilk is tracking this month. The critics agree on the scale - the sets, the action, and Yash himself - and on little else. The writing is called wafer-thin, the women underwritten, and the tone confused: The Indian Express asks “How can a fairytale be so hollow?”, while India Today says strong performances and inventive action cannot overcome the confusion.
