The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer horror-comedy, Laxmii premiered on November 9 on Disney+Hotstar. Recently, the makers held a special premiere in Delhi for the transgender community upon the film based. ## While the film is getting a mixed response from the viewers, Transgender rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi who was touched by the transgender representation in the film, said that Akshay Kumar should be applauded for doing such a strong film-like Laxmii.## "Any transgender is equal to any man or woman, which comes out from the film in a very strong way. Without seeing a film, on the eve of its release, these articles are being written".## According to Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the best thing about the film is that Akshay Kumar in it and playing a strong character of a transgender. ## Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Laxmi (earlier titled Laxmmi Bomb) is the remake of his own Tamil hit Kanchana. Amrita Rao and Shahid Kapoor starrer romantic-drama, Vivah has completed 14 years from its release today. Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, the movie tells the story of two individuals and relates their journey from engagement to marriage and the aftermath. ## As the film turns 14 today, Amrita Rao took to her social media handle to share a special post. She shared a major throwback photo from the sets of her 2006 film. Earlier at the beginning of Monday Night Raw, R-Truth pinned Drew Gulak to win the 24/7 Title. After dismissing Drew Gulak's hope to join The Hurt Business, R-Truth swooped in to pick up the pieces and reclaim the 24/7 Title.## Later, on the night, R-Truth had to defend the title in a turbulent 7-Way 24/7 Title Match. Tonight's Raw displayed a segment featuring first AJ Styles protected by Jordan Omogbehin, Styles went on to call on Keith Lee, Riddle, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman as the members of the Raw Team at Survivor Series.## AJ Styles stated that last week's assembling was a bad idea, but this time they have Riddle. Everyone from Keith Lee to Braun Strowman and Sheamus had problems with what happened last week.## Riddle had some idea, he named "Fire Face" as a name for Sheamus. Styles continued to state that they need to work together if they want to win the match. AJ Styles himself called the captain, but none of them accepted it, at the end of the segment AJ Styles fixed a Tag-Team match between Braun Strowman & Sheamus Vs. Raw Women’s Champion Asuka is less than two weeks away from a collision with SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, but she faced another champion tonight in Nia Jax. Team India captain, Virat Kohli who is expecting his first child with Anushka Sharma in January is all set to miss the last three Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Test series starting from December 17 against Australia. ## At the selection committee meeting held on October 26th, 2020, Virat Kohli had informed the BCCI about his plans to return to India after the first Test in Adelaide. The BCCI has granted paternity leave to the Indian captain. He will return after the first Test against Australia in Adelaide. ## On the other hand, Rohit Sharma who was left out from all three squads in the initial team selection has been included in the Test squad after BCCI received a medical update of his fitness. However, BCCI has decided to rest him for the ODIs and T20Is in Australia to regain full fitness. ## The Selection Committee also has added Sanju Samson as an additional wicket-keeper to India’s ODI squad while Varun Chakravarthy who was included in the T20 squad has been ruled out of the series owing to a shoulder injury. ## Ishant Sharma who has been undergoing his rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru will be added to India's Test squad once he fully recovers and gains sufficient match fitness. While most of the top filmmakers are competing to release their films on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, the makers of the upcoming satirical comedy-drama film, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari have decided to go for the theatrical release.## Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is scheduled to release theatrically on 15 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali. The Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer becomes the first Hindi film to come out post the reopening of cinemas.## Speaking about the theatrical release of the film, director Abhishek Sharma said that OTT platforms are the "death of cinema". ## "I've never been okay with a digital release, my thoughts on this are well known. For me, the cinema belongs to the theatre.
