Mumbai, March 28 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his directorial debut with one of India's biggest films Krrish 4. The movie will feature Hrithik in the titular role, and the makers have partnered with Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films to produce it. ## Krrish 4 has been in the news for a long time, but due to a high budget, the movie wasn't moving forward. Recently, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan confirmed that the script work of the movie is almost completed and they would be announcing it very soon. ## The movie was supposed to be directed by Siddharth Anand, but he recently parted ways to focus on Shah Rukh Khan's King. Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that it will be directed by his son Hrithik, who has lived, breathed and dreamt about this franchise since its inception with him. ## The senior Roshan revealed that producer Aditya Chopra convinced Hrithik to sit in the director's chair. He further said that he couldn't be more prouder to see him wear the director's hat for a film that means the world to us as a family. ## The script of Krrish 4 has reportedly been locked, and the pre-production work has begun in full swing. The makers are aiming to take the film on floors by early 2026. Los Angeles, March 27 - The Avengers have assembled once again, 6 years after Avengers Endgame emerged as one of the biggest grossers in history, as the filming of Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday has begun. ## On Wednesday, Marvel Studios surprised everyone when it announced the cast of the upcoming film during a nearly five-and-a-half-hour live stream. The cast of Doomsday has some surprising names, consisting of a mix of Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstays as well as actors from 20th Century Fox's now-defunct X-Men universe and upcoming stars of Fantastic Four: First Steps. ## The studio announced 26 actors who would feature in the upcoming film, and among the returning cast members from Endgame are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Winston Duke as M'Baku. Kochi, March 26 — The Malayalam film industry is on the verge of joining only four other Indian film industries in scoring a 50 crore opening at the worldwide box office as superstar Mohanlal's highly-anticipated action thriller L2: Empuraan has created history for it. ## Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Empuraan is all set to storm the box office after scoring sensational advance sales in India and worldwide. The film's opening day pre-sales have crossed 50 crores gross globally, making it the first Mollywood title to do so. ## Ever since the advance booking of Empuraan was opened, it has been breaking records with each passing day, and to be able to score more than 2x of the previous biggest Malayalam opener Marakkar (20 crores gross), in pre-sales only, is a remarkable feat no one saw coming. ## Previously, Bollywood ("Chennai Express"), Tollywood ("Baahubali"), Kollywood ("Kabali"), and Sandalwood ("KGF 2") were able to score a 50 crore opening. It stars superstar Akshay Kumar in the lead role alongside R. Kochi, March 25 - Superstar Mohanlal's action thriller L2: Empuraan has become the first Malayalam film ever to sell 1 million tickets in advance on the online ticketing platform, Book My Show with 2 days still left for the release. ## The advance booking of Empuraan was opened on Friday (March 21) and since then, it has been selling tickets like hotcakes. On the first day, the movie sold a record-breaking 628K tickets on BMS, 163K on the second day, 110K on the third day and 100K+ tickets on 4th day. ## Of all the tickets sold, around 70%-80% have been sold in the home state, Kerala. On the opening day, the movie sold tickets worth approximately 15 crore gross in India, including around 10 crore gross in Kerala. It has already shattered the opening day to opening weekend record for a Mollywood title, be it in pre-sales or box office opening. ## Empuraan has guaranteed to score 50+ crores on the first day and 100+ crores at the opening weekend at the worldwide box office.
