Chennai, October 3 - After the success of The Greatest of All Time, Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to commence his next film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69 which has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. It will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. ## The emotions of the fans are attached to Thalapathy 69 as it is potentially the final film of the superstar before his political entry. Meanwhile, as the movie is gearing up to commence filming soon, the buzz regarding it making rounds in the Tamil media which has created panic among Vijay's fans. ## As per the rumours on social media, T69 is either the remake or an adaptation of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu movie Bhagavanth Kesari which was released in October last year and was a box office hit. Mumbai, October 3 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks with director Amar Kaushik for an adventure film. Kaushik has just delivered an all-time blockbuster in the form of Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan has had a couple of meetings with director Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films regarding their potential collaboration. The project in question will not be part of Maddock Supernatural Universe, but mark the beginning of a new one. ## It is said that SRK is aiming to have a 3-film line-up in place before he starts shooting for director Sujoy Ghosh's King. The talks are still in the early days and the actor is yet to take a decision on the same. More discussions are expected to take place in the months to come before he takes a call on doing or not doing the film. ## Apart from Kaushik's adventure movie, SRK is also in talks with the director of Raj & DK for a comic action thriller along with other filmmakers including from South India. ## Meanwhile, the shoot of King, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Varma, and Suhana Khan, is scheduled to commence in January 2025 and wrap by mid-2025. Chennai, October 3 - Legendary Kamal Haasan and maverick director S. Shankar reunited for Indian 2, the sequel to their cult blockbuster Indian (1996), in July this year. The sequel was split into two parts with the second part, Indian 3, confirmed to hit the screens early 2025. ## Indian 2 was released amid huge anticipation, however, it soon turned into a massive disappointment for the makers as well as fans. The movie met with disaster reviews and public talks which severely impacted its box office. Despite the big opening, the movie ended up as a huge failure with approximately 150 crores gross collection worldwide. ## Now, according to the latest buzz in Tamil media, the makers are considering a direct digital release of Indian 3 after the lukewarm response to its predecessor. The buzz is that the makers are not sure about the film's success if it releases in theatres as the buzz is nowhere near to what it was for Indian 2. ## The official confirmation, however, has not yet been made by the makers but the chances are high that the movie will skip theatrical release due to the high risk involved. Mumbai, October 3 - Maddock Films' horror comedy Stree 2 has turned the chapters of the history books upside down with once-in-a-lifetime box office performances. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted has been on a dream ride for the past 7 weeks and isn't stopping anytime soon. ## Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel of 2018's blockbuster film has completed glorious 50 days in theatres today (8th Thursday), and this has been the most decorated run for an Indian title at the domestic box office with an insane day-wise trend. ## Of course, Stree 2 has hugely benefitted from the lack of serious competition, a luxury past blockbusters didn't have for such a long period. It has been a one-horse race, and thanks to that, the movie is now on the brink of breaching the rarest of the box office milestones of 600 crores net after becoming the biggest single language grosser in India.## Stree 2 has scored approximately 591.50 crores net collection in 49 days, making it the biggest single language grosser at the Indian box office by beating Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan which minted 582.31 crores net in Hindi. In the 49 days so far, Stree 2 has scored 1+ crore net collection in 46 days, making it the only film to achieve the feat in a single language. ## The latest mega-blockbuster is around 8 crore net collection away from topping the 600 crore milestone, which has never been achieved in a particular language. It is expected to sail through as the holiday season approaches, however, the upcoming films along with the holdovers might make a dent which needs to be seen.## At the worldwide box office, Stree 2 has minted approximately 840 crores gross, including 706 crores gross in India and an estimated 134 crores overseas collection. Hyderabad, October 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 hits the ball out of the park on its 6th day, thanks to the national holiday in the form of Gandhi Jayanti. The movie is witnessing over 40% jump which is huge for a Telugu title with mixed reviews. ## After the superb first weekend, followed by the decent to good hold during the first two working days, Devara gets the maximum use of the national holiday as early estimates suggest 12-13+ crores gross collection in Telugu states on its first Wednesday (6th day). ## Apart from the Telugu states, the movie has a good jump on other Southern states as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are expected to score 4+ crores combined gross collection, per estimates. The North belt, meanwhile, is also showing big gains as estimates suggest 7.50-8.50 crores gross in the region on its 6th day. ## The dubbed Hindi version of Devara is witnessing a jump of around 50% for an estimated 6-6.50 crores net collection, taking its total Hindi collection to over 41 crores net. Overall, Devara is estimated to gross 24-25 crores (~20.50 crores net) collection on its first Wednesday/6th day, which may vary a little bit depending on mass centres. ## The total domestic collection of the film is around 245 crores gross (207+ crores net) after 6 days, per estimates. The full first week is headed to finish around 255 crores gross which is an excellent collection. Mumbai, October 2 - Kartik Aaryan's hugely-anticipated horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has reportedly fetched a career biggest non-theatrical deal for the actor. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the third instalment of the blockbuster franchise is gearing up for Diwali 2024 release. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the digital, satellite, and music rights of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have been sold to leading players for a sum of Rs 135 crore. Netflix has post-theatrical streaming rights to the movie while Sony Network has digital rights. ## Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, which is producing the film with Cine1 Studio, has the music rights of BB3 and it is said that the company is bullish on fetching big profits from the music of the film, as the album has 5 super-hit songs.## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has reportedly been made on a budget of around 150 crores and the makers have covered a large chunk of their budget with the pre-sale of non-theatrical rights only which is also said to be the biggest for a Kartik Aaryan-fronted. ## BB3 reunites Kartik with director Anees Bazmee after the second instalment which was a big box office success, grossing over 250 crores worldwide in 2022. Mumbai, October 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is heading towards emerging as a big success at the box office and has crossed 300 crores gross collection worldwide, becoming the second movie of the actor to do so after RRR. ## Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 has grossed approximately 286 crores at the worldwide box office through the first Tuesday (5 days). The biz has exploded domestically today, on the first Wednesday due to the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday, crossing 300 crores gross as I type this. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to breach the milestone of 300 crores gross after SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR, co-starring Ram Charan. As said, the latest blockbuster is the first solo film of Jr. NTR to gross 300 crores globally, emerging as a big success. ## It is the second Telugu movie after Kalki 2898 AD, and 5th Indian title of 2024 to enter the 300 crores gross club at the global box office. Mumbai, October 2 - The year 2024 has been super successful for the Malayalam cinema, and one of the standout films to come out from the Mollywood industry has been megastar Mammootty's period folk horror Bramayugam. ## Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, Bramayugam received extremely positive reviews from critics upon its release in February this year. Hyderabad, October 1 - After a decent hold on its first Monday, superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is having a fantastic hold on Tuesday as tomorrow's holiday of Gandhi Jayanti gives the boost to the movie in the evening and night shows. ## It is common for the movies to witness a drop during the weekdays, especially when word of mouth is mixed. But due to the national holiday benefit tomorrow, Devara witnessing a rock solid hold as early estimates suggest the collection in the range of 8-9 crores gross in Telugu states with a minor jump over Monday's collection. ## Apart from AP-TG, the other Southern states are also witnessing a stronghold with a minor jump as collections are expected to be in the range of 2.50+ crores gross in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala on Tuesday. The chance of collection going further is also there depending on mass belts. ## The Hindi belt is proving to be a surprise region for Devara as far as the box office outcome is concerned. After a good collection in the first 4 days, the movie is witnessing a jump on its 5th day as it is expected to gross in the range of 5-5.50 crores in the North India belt. ## The dubbed Hindi version of Devara is expected to score 4-4.50 crores net while the all-India gross is estimated to be in the range of 15.50-16.50 crores (13.50 crores net) on Tuesday. Chennai, October 1 - Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to commence the final film before his political entry. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, the movie was officially announced recently with H. Vinoth getting the chance to direct arguably the biggest superstar of Tamil cinema. ## The leading Kannada production house, KVN Productions is making its debut in Tamil cinema with T69 and the studio announced on October 1 that the cast of the film will be announced over the next three days. Meanwhile, ahead of the official confirmation, some of the names have already been revealed. ## According to the latest Tamil media reports, Pooja Hegde has been cast to play the female lead, reuniting with Vijay after Beast (2022). Bollywood star Bobby Deol, who has been making noise since Animal, has also reportedly been roped in to play a crucial role. ## The latest Malayalam sensation, Mamitha Baiju, who shot to fame with the blockbuster Premalu, is also reportedly confirmed to join the cast along with Prakash Raj while Priyamani is also said to be a part of the cast. Mumbai, October 1 - In one of the biggest news, it was recently revealed that Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor would be headlining Yash Raj Films' 4th instalment of the hugely-anticipated action thriller Dhoom franchise, stepping into playing the anti-hero role which has been the USP of the franchise. ## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, Vijay Krishna Acharya has been finalized to direct Dhoom 4. Vijay aka Victor has written the story and screenplay of the previous three films of the franchise and went on to direct Dhoom 3 (2013) which is also the highest-grossing film in the series.## It is said that Victor has also written the script for Dhoom 4 and is now also on board to helm this one, as per the Bollywood Hungama report. Yash Raj Films is yet to officially confirm the development. ## Ranbir will play the anti-hero and it is said that none of the original cast will return as Dhoom 4 is a reboot in the literal sense. In the previous three films, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan took on the negative roles, respectively, which has been a driving force of the Dhoom franchise.## The makers looking to cast two young actors to replace Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who have been a part of all three Dhoom films as cop baddies.
