Kochi, March 31 - Prithviraj Sukumaran's survival drama Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life conquered the box office, scoring the biggest opening weekend for a Malayalam movie globally. The high-budgeted film is directed by national award winner Blessy. ## The novel-adapted feature was released on March 28 and grossed an estimated 64.85 crores worldwide in the first 4 days, including around 34.85 crores in India and 30 crores overseas. On Sunday, the film scored an estimated 17 crores gross worldwide.## The worldwide opening weekend of 65+ crores makes Aadujeevitham the biggest-ever Mollywood opener, beating superstar Mohanlal's Lucifer which scored around 55 crores gross in its first 4-day weekend in 2019. Superstar Mammootty's Bheeshma Parvam is the third on the list with around 45 crores worldwide gross. ## Aadujeevitham has strong advance sales for the first Monday which has almost confirmed its entry into the 100 crores worldwide box office club. ormer WWE Superstar Dennis Knight, known for his roles as Phineas I. Godwinn (PIG) and Mideon, shared a concerning health update on Instagram. Knight revealed he nearly died after a recent medical emergency that led to an eight-day hospitalization, including two days in the ICU.## Knight's ordeal began with stomach pain, initially thought to be a bowel obstruction. However, surgery revealed a more serious situation: a ruptured appendix, a hernia, and a large gallstone that tore his stomach lining. This was particularly surprising as Knight had his gallbladder removed years ago.## Knight's blood sugar levels were also alarmingly high, exceeding 700 (normal range is 90-120).## Sharing his story, Knight emphasized the importance of cherishing loved ones. "The reason for this is to tell your family and God you love them because It might be the last!" he wrote.## Despite the ordeal, Knight expressed gratitude for his recovery and the support of his family. "After the worst week of my life I am great full [sic] to still be here and I love you all..thank you for your time ," he concluded. ## Dennis Knight's career spanned multiple promotions. He found success in the WWF (now WWE) from 1996 to 2001, first as PIG alongside Henry O. Godwinn (HOG) as The Godwinns, a popular tag team.## In a memorable storyline, Knight's character was kidnapped by The Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness and brainwashed, leading to his transformation into Mideon. Mumbai, March 31 - Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures' Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire shattered projections left, right, and centre to score the biggest opening weekend of 2024 at the worldwide box office, beating Warner Bros.' Dune: Part 2. ## The sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) scored mighty an estimated $194 million (1620 crores) on global opening weekend, the second biggest ever for MonsterVerse just behind 2014's Godzilla ($196M). It easily beats Dune 2 which scored ($182.5M) earlier this month to score the biggest opening weekend of 2024. ## Godzilla x Kong roared to $80 million (670 crores) opening weekend at the domestic (North America) box office, the second biggest in 2024 behind Dune 2's $82.5 million. Overseas, the movie minted a huge $114 million (950 crores) which is the biggest in MonsterVerse, beating Godzilla's $103 million. ## Outside the domestic market, the blockbuster sequel grossed a strong $44 million in China which is the biggest international contributor to the film, followed by Mexico ($12.8M), and India was the third best with a huge $5.5 million (46 crores).
