Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is stepping back into the fighting world, not just on screen, but literally. Titled "The Smashing Machine," the film chronicles the life of legendary MMA fighter Mark Kerr. ## According to PWInsider, Johnson will portray Kerr, while directorial duties fall under Benny Safdie. Production begins May 1st, 2024, and concludes on August 1st, spanning locations like Los Angeles, New Mexico, Tokyo, and Vancouver. ## The movie draws inspiration from a 2002 HBO documentary on Kerr's life, promising a detailed look at his career. Mumbai, March 13 - Ajay Devgn-fronted supernatural thriller Shaitaan has entered the 100 crores gross club at the worldwide box office. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie surpassed the 100 crores gross mark on its fifth day, Tuesday. ## Shaitaan has grossed around 80+ crores in India and an estimated 20 crores overseas for 100+ crores worldwide in 5 days. It is the third Bollywood movie after Fighter and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and the seventh Indian film of 2024 to hit the milestone. ## Produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Jio Studios and Panorama Studios, Shaitaan is Devgn's third consecutive movie as well as in the post-pandemic era to surpass the century mark at the global box office after Drishyam 2 and Bholaa. Kochi, March 13 - The Malayalam film industry has a new industry hit in the form of survival thriller Manjummel Boys. The Chidambaram's directorial has become the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating last year's 2018. ## Based on a true incident, Manjummel Boys has surpassed 2018's final domestic collection of 110.50 crores gross at the time of penning this piece. The movie minted around 109.50 crores through the third Tuesday (19 days) and with today's collection, it will be around 112 crores gross. ## Apart from becoming the biggest Malayalam domestic grosser, Manjummel Boys is also inches away from topping 2018's 180 crores gross collection to become the biggest Mollywood worldwide grosser. It will be around 173 crores at the end of the end by 4th Friday, it will claim the top spot. ## The movie has been creating history at the box office since its big-screen debut on February 22. Mumbai, March 13 - Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's action entertainer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie has Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the antagonist alongside Manushi Chillar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F as the female leads. ## Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is scheduled to be released on Eid this year and there is genuine curiosity among the fans for the film. The makers recently released the first teaser which received a blockbuster response and now, the trailer is set to hit screens in the last week of March. ## In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, producer Jackky Bhagnani confirmed that the BMCM trailer will be out on March 26, two weeks before the film's big screen debut. Kochi, March 13 - Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju's romantic comedy Premalu becomes the fifth Malayalam movie ever to top the 100 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. The movie achieved the milestone in its 5th week. ## Directed by Girish A. D., Premalu has been a kind of revolution at the box office. Made on a budget of around 10 crores, the movie faced competition from bigger films and despite that, it has been showing incredible legs at the box office. ## In India, Premalu has minted approximately 62+ crores gross while the overseas collection is an estimated 38 crores, for 100+ crores worldwide total after 33 days of its run. The movie was recently released in the Telugu dubbed version and has grossed over 2.50 crores in 5 days so far. ## It is the 5th Malayalam movie of all time to enter the 100 crores gross club. Superstar Mohanlal's Pulimurugan was the first to achieve the feat in 2016, followed by the actor's Lucifer in 2019.
