Mumbai, January 17 - Netflix has been on an announcement spree regarding the post-theatrical streaming slate of South Indian films. The streamer recently announced several Telugu films which will stream on its platform after their theatrical run and now, it has announced Tamil titles. ## One of the biggest Tamil films to stream on Netflix after its theatrical release is superstar Ajith Kumar's VidaaMuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. The theatrical release of the film is yet to be announced but it is expected to release either Diwali this year or Sankranthi 2025. It will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. ## Netflix also has Lyca's Indian 2, starring legendary Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar. A sequel to the 1996 blockbuster "Indian", it is easily one of the Tamil films of the year, scheduled to release during summer. It will be available to stream on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, post its theatrical release. ## Chiyaan Vikram's period action drama Thangalaan, directed by directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green, is also grabbed by Netflix. The movie is announced for theatrical release in April 2024. Sony Pictures International Production's debut in Tamil cinema, tentatively titled SK21, also produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, is also part of the Netflix lineup. ## Among the other films, Vijay Sethupathi's Maharaja directed by Nithilan Saminathan along with Keerthy Suresh-led Passion Film Factory and The Route's Revolver Rita directed by K. Chandru, Dream Warrior Pictures’ Kannivedi, SNS Productions' Sorgavaasal, and AGS Entertainment's Conjuring Kannappan is also part of Netflix's line-up. ## The unreleased films will debut on Netflix after their theatrical releases. She provided a positive update on her recovery after the surgery.## Charlotte Flair went through the surgery on January 5th and has been recovering at home since then. Fans are disappointed that she won't be participating in this year's Royal Rumble Premium Live Event and will miss WrestleMania 40.## In an Instagram story, the 37-year-old wrestler shared a positive update, mentioning that 11 days after the surgery, her stitches were removed. Mumbai, January 17 - Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reportedly put his musical Baiju Bawra, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, on hold for the time being. It was supposed to be his next directorial film for the big screen after Alia Bhatt's "Gangubai Kathiawadi" (2022). ## According to a report by Pinkvilla, "Baiju Bawra" wouldn't be the immediate next for the maverick filmmaker, and the same has been conveyed to all the talents who were supposed to work on the film. Both Ranveer and Alia had allotted bulk dates for the movie but both of them will now be shifting their focus to other projects. ## The report stated that SLB is planning to take his next directorial venture on floors by May/June 2024. SLB's next is said to be a very ambitious story close to his heart and will be the talk of the town once the official announcement is made though the exact details about the casting and other aspects are revealed yet. ## Meanwhile, the report further said that SLB is looking to revive "Inshallah" to explore a light-hearted romantic comedy, and is reportedly in talks with superstar Shah Rukh Khan to bring him on board for the same. The duo have met a couple of times over the last few months and SRK is also interested in it. ## "Inshallah" could be Bhansali's next directorial as a large part of pre-production work has already been done in the pre-covid times. Kochi, January 17 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is basking on the big blockbuster success of his courtroom drama film "Neru", and now in little over one month, the actor is gearing up for his next theatrical release in the form of Malaikottai Vaaliban, scheduled for January 25. ## The period action drama, directed by "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam" and "Jallikkattu" fame Lijo Jose Pellissery, is easily one of the biggest Malayalam films of all time and in an exciting development, the movie is getting ready to release in two parts.## According to a report by Cinema Express, the "Malaikottai Vaaliban" story will be completed in two parts, keeping the open climax in the first one.
