Hyderabad, January 5 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's action drama Guntur Kaaram, directed by Trivikram is all set to hit the big screens on January 12, and the preparations are being made for the grand release worldwide. ## The last time Mahesh Babu released his film at the Sankranthi festival, it went on to become his highest-grossing in the form of Sarileru Neekevvaru, and the expectations are even higher this time. Guntur Kaaram is one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the year and the trade is expecting it to turn out big box office success. ## The film has done a record pre-release theatrical business worldwide for Mahesh Babu, even though it is going to release in a jam-packed festive weekend. Guntur Kaaram's theatrical business has been locked a huge approximately 134 crores worldwide, which is a record for a non-pan Indian Telugu movie. ## The business in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) is approximately 104 crores, including 42 crores in Nizam and 14 crores in Ceded area, according to Track Tollywood.
