Chennai, December 31 - After delivering the biggest grosser of his career in the form of "Leo", Thalapathy Vijay is back in the action with his next film, being directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film marks the maiden collaboration between the Tamil superstar and director.## On December 31st, the makers delighted the fans by sharing the first-look title poster. The film has been titled GOAT - Greatest of All-Time and the first look revealed that Vijay is playing a duel role in the film. The poster shows the actor's younger version sharing a fist bump with the elder character. ## Both the characters of Thalapathy Vijay can be seen in uniform, with a fighter plane above in the poster. Mumbai, December 31 - Japanese epic kaiju film Godzilla Minus One has been a sensational box office blockbuster worldwide. Produced by Toho Studios and Robot Communications, it is the 37th film in the long-running Godzilla franchise, Toho's 33rd Godzilla film, and the fifth film in the franchise's Reiwa era. ## The film made its domestic (Japan) debut on November 3rd, and in no time, it became a sensational word-of-mouth global hit. Made on a budget of under just $15 million, "Godzilla Minus One" has now overtaken the lifetime global haul of its predecessor, 2016's "Shin Godzilla", to become the highest-grossing Japanese Godzilla movie.## The live-action monster film has so far grossed approximately $80 million worldwide, beating "Shin Godzilla's" $77.9 million haul. In Japan, the film has minted approximately $32.4 million since its debut on November 3rd while in North America, it has minted around $44 million after debuting on December 1st. ## "Godzilla Minus One" made history at the North American box office in early December, when it delivered the biggest opening weekend haul ever for a live-action Japanese film with $11.4 million. Hyderabad, December 30 - The first-time combo of director Prashanth Neel and Pan India superstar Prabhas has set the box office on fire in the form of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. The action drama also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the parallel lead role. ## "Salaar: Ceasefire" has ended the long wait for Prabhas of a box office success, and has become the third film of the actor, after "Baahubali" (2015) and "Baahubali 2" (2017), to hit 500 crores gross in the worldwide box office, and the first since SS Rajamouli's directorial all-time blockbuster.## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" entered the 500 crores gross club on its 9th day, second Saturday. It is the 7th Indian and first Telugu movie of 2023 to hit the milestone, after "Pathaan", "Jailer", "Gadar 2", "Jawan", "Leo", and "Animal". Overall, it is the 21st Indian film ever to reach the milestone of five hundred worldwide gross collection.## The film has grossed approximately 390 crores in India and an estimated 115 crores at the overseas box office, for worldwide 505 crores in 9 days. However, there has been no concrete development since its announcement as the fans are still awaiting official updates from the makers for the same. ## Over the last year, the chatters about "Kick 2" have been making a lot of noise and the rumours were there that the movie would start rolling soon, but again, it didn't happen. Mumbai, December 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is going strong, nearing 500 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. It will be Prabhas' third 500 crore grosser, and first since "Baahubali 2" in 2017. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar is also all set to enter the 100 crores net club in the dubbed Hindi version with today's collection, and this is an excellent achievement for the movie as it came in a clash with an outright Bollywood movie like Dunki, featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani. ## Salaar has minted approximately 99 crores net collection in Hindi in its first 8 days, and it has topped 100 crores at the time of writing this piece. It has become the 5th movie of Prabhas to reach this milestone, and second of the year after Adipurush. ## Prabhas is the only actor of South Indian origin to have 5 films in the 100 crores net club in Hindi, as no other actor has more than one. Salaar is the 9th South Indian film (including "Adipurush") to hit the box office century in Hindi. Allu Arjun ("Pushpa - The Rise"), Jr. NTR and Ram Charan ("RRR"), Rajinikanth ("2.0"), and Yash ("KGF 2") are other actors in this list. ## Salaar would have scored much better than its current total had it released solo. The clash with Dunki has reduced it to fewer shows but still, it has done very well, especially in mass pockets. According to Fightful Select, negotiations between WWE and the former Sasha Banks have reached an impasse. ## Sources from WWE revealed on Friday night that talks had ceased, stating that the two parties "were no longer in negotiations regarding a return." Despite amicable discussions, the inability to make progress led to WWE's decision to walk away from the negotiations. ## Fightful also mentioned that another source within WWE believes that Mone is likely to make an appearance elsewhere "imminently."
