NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day is set to take place on February 14, 2020, live from Capitol Wrestling Center at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, and will air live on the WWE Network.## It was announced on NXT's New Year's Evil special that the next NXT Takeover event will take place on Sunday, February 14.## It will be the 33rd event in the NXT TakeOver chronology and the ninth in the Vengeance chronology. Not so long ago, actor Saif Ali Khan sparked controversy for saying that his role of Raavan in the upcoming film Adipurush is humane and his character will "justify his abduction of Sita". However, the actor had to apologises later for his statements after people took offense.## This was not the first time when Saif found himself on the controversial side. He had landed in a similar fix back then when he declared Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, to be historically inaccurate. The actor played antagonist Udaybhan Singh Rathore in the movie. ## Now, the director of Adipurush and Tanhaji, Om Raut has reacted to Saif's remark and said that he would have preferred to not have drawn negative attention towards the film before its release.## "I think Saif sir has his own way of thinking. What he kind of meant and what comes out is maybe not always communicated well. That's one thing that we've come over... We're over it. I love Saif sir for the commitment he has for the subject, the type of reading that he has done. That's the Saif Ali Khan that we should know, and that's the Saif Ali Khan that's a page of Indian cinema", Om Raut told Rajeev Masand in an interview. ## In his interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif had said, "It"s interesting to play a demon king, less strictures in that. But we will make him humane, up the entertainment quotient, justify his abduction of Sita and the war with Ram as revenge for what was done to his sister Surpanakha by Lakshman, who cut off her nose". ## Talking about the film, Adipurush is an adaption of Ramayan in which Prabhas is playing lord Ram. It will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. Filmmaker Indra Kumar is all set to begin his next venture with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh for a slice-of-life comedy film with a message, titled 'Thank God'. At AEW New Year's Smash night one, Darby Allin presented the new TNT Championship, which includes a black strap instead of a red strap. The rest of the part is similar to the previous one.## As noted, Following the death of the championship's second title holder Mr. Brodie Lee in December 2020, AEW retired the championship belt design that had been used up to that point to honor Lee. WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg appeared on tonight's AEW Dynamite: New Year's Smash to promote TNT's, Go-Big Show, Snoop recorded a remix of Cody Rhodes theme song and in Cody's corner for Cody's match against Matt Sydal.## Cody hit two crosses Rhodes on Sydal to pick up the pinfall victory. After the match, Snoop Dogg got physical. The New Beginning in Nagoya is set to take place on January 30, in Nagoya, Aichi at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium (Dolphins Arena). This will be the thirtieth event promoted under the NJPW The New Beginning name and the first to be held in Nagoya.## Ninomaru, Naka-ku Nagoya-shi, Aichi will be the location for the event. The 26th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) that was supposed to be held from November 5 to 12 last year will be held from 8 to 15 January virtually. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the ceremony will be held on a smaller scale. ## Taking to Twitter, Mamata Banerjee also confirmed that superstar Shah Rukh Khan will virtually attend the inaugural ceremony on January 08. ## "Together we will overcome this pandemic. The Kerala film chamber has decided that it will not open theatres in the state even though the government has granted permission to open theatres from January 5 with 50 percent capacity by following the strict Covid-19 protocols and periodically sanitize the theatres.## The film chamber has said that it will not be in a position to open the theatres without any proper decision on entertainment tax by the government. The chamber and the theatre owners demand that entertainment tax must not be collected by the government to which there was no proper communication from the state government.## The office-bearers of the theatre owners' association said that opening theatres with 50% capacity and paying entertainment tax is not a feasible option. The government has also fixed the timing for screening movies from 9 am to 9 pm, which is not acceptable to the theatre owners as they feel that late-night shows draw maximum customers.## Siyad Kokkar, a senior producer and former President of the film chamber, told IANS (as quoted by India TV) over the phone, "I don't know how we can maintain the theatres without the government foregoing the entertainment tax and not allowing them to operate in full capacity. We are under tremendous tension as theatres have remained shut in the state since March 2020 while the overheads have almost remained the same".## Stay tuned...

Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman who was last seen in a cameo role in Ashutosh Gowariker's 2019 historical drama Panipat, will be back on screen in a new avatar in the upcoming film Margaon: The Closed File.## The film is a murder mystery that tributes Agatha Christie's genre of work, and casts the 69-year-old actress as head of an Anglo Indian family who is an independent woman, a mother as well as an entrepreneur.## Talking about the same, director Kapil Kaustubh Sharma shared, "Zeenatji will be seen in a strong role of a woman named Sylvia. It's a complex and unconventional character with various shades".## "It's too early to talk much about the project. I have grown up on Agatha Christie's stories.
