Bengaluru, September 11 - The 10th edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) was held in Bangalore on Saturday where the winners of Telugu and Kannada cinema were announced, while Tamil and Malayalam winners will be awarded tonight (September 11). ## It was a starry night where superstars of South Indian cinema graced the red carpet, including the likes of Yash, Kamal Haasan, and Allu Arjun, among others. The love number, which is Armaan's fourth English single, is set against the backdrop of Paris.## Calling it the most romantic song of his career, the singer has dedicated it to those who can't express love out of shyness.## Featuring Armaan and Emma Declercq, 'You' depicts blossoming young love in a world that seems cynical about the very emotion.## Talking about the song and its importance for him as an artist, Armaan shares: "It's exciting for me to bring 'You' to the listeners and I'm so fortunate to have fans, who were super thrilled way before its release. Mumbai, Dec 23 (IANS) Singer Armaan Malik, who is known for crooning hits such as 'Buddhu sa mann', 'Tere mere', 'Boldo na zara', has completed 14 years in the music industry and he credits the love he gets from his fans for what he is today. ## Talking about his 14-year journey in the industry, Armaan said: "I have nothing but gratitude and love for my family, gurus, composers, writers, music-producers and technicians who have helped me become the artiste that I am today. I'm also extremely blessed to have a fandom that celebrates milestones like these with such gusto." ## He added: "A big thank you to all my fans for loving my music and giving me more reasons to pursue my passion. Hyderabad, September 20, 2021: On the second and final day of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2021, some of the best South Indian movies and artists of 2020 were honored in a star-studded ceremony in Hyderabad. ## Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer action drama film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, emerged a big winner at the award nights and bagged almost all the top awards in Telugu. Mumbai, April 1 (IANS) Singer Armaan Malik, who launched an English song titled "Control" last month, says he hasn't forgotten his Bollywood roots.## "I've always wanted to sing in English, but Bollywood music made me Armaan Malik. Whoever I am today is because of Bollywood music. I've sung more than 300 songs - across languages!" said Armaan.## The "Bol do na zara" hitmaker calls himself "a bit of a perfectionist".## "I feel every piece of work that I have to do needs to be a masterpiece. But sometimes, when I'm very convinced with a song, it's never worked. We have to bridge what we think is right and what the market thinks is right," he said.## He also shared that there was a time in his life when he had to experience "one dark patch".## "There came this one dark patch in the last two years, I broke down and told my dad, 'listen, I hate the songs I've sung'" said the young singer, who is the son of composer Daboo Malik.## Armaan comes from a family of musicians, but he drew inspiration from outside as well.## "The person who really inspired me was Sonu Nigam when I was growing up.
