Actress Kangana Ranaut seems to be digging in trouble for her anti-farmer tweet last month in which he called terrorists to those people who, as Kangana thinks, were spreading misinformation about the farm laws passed by the Parliament. The Tumkuru district police on Tuesday (October 13) registered a case against the actress for her tweet against farmers who were protesting against the farm laws.## Last week, a Tumkuru court had directed the local Kyatasandra police station to book Kangana Ranaut for her tweet on farmers. The ruling came after a complaint was lodged by advocate L. Ramesh Naik last month.## "My case against popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not to gain any publicity but to convey to her that what she did was wrong. When farmers take to the streets to protest against any government policy, they are not necessarily terrorists, as she thinks. I have joined many such protests, am I a terrorist? I need clarification on this and therefore I am fighting this case", Naik told IANS as quoted in India TV report.## On September 21, Kangana had tweeted, "People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about farmers' bills and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists".## Alleging that the tweet amounted to causing provocation, hurt, the enmity between groups, and intentional insult, Naik had filed the complaint against the actress in the Tumkur court on September 28 after the Tumkuru police refused to entertain his complaint.## Kangana is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film "Thalaivi" in which she is portraying the character of a late actress and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayaram Jayalalithaa.## Stay tuned...

Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri says it is only a few bad people who are responsible for the bad image of this Bollywood industry adding that it takes a lot of courage to speak against the powerful people like he and Kangana Ranaut have spoken. ## Agnihotri opened up on the subject when he expressed his opinion on 34 Bollywood production houses and four film associations filing a civil suit in Delhi High Court against certain news channels for allegedly defaming the industry.## "Can the public sue Bollywood for destroying music, lyrics, language, art, creativity, social fabric, and culture of India?" Vivek tweeted.## Actor Gulshan Devaiah responded to his post about Bollywood destroying Indian culture, writing, "Careful Good sir!! By this logic some idiots might try to sue you too for some of your "earlier work".## To which, Vivek responded that he used to make crap movies but now has realized and left the company of Bollywood to fight against the corrupt system. "Absolutely. When like you, I was trying to fit in, I also made crap like your masters. But then I realised and left Bollywood and now I am fighting to reform this corrupt system. Pl join me in this noble revolution, Gullu, my favorite troll", he wrote in response.## In another tweet, Vivek also shared an image of the list of the production houses involved in filing the civil suit. The list includes almost all leading production houses of Bollywood including Yashraj Films, Excel Entertainment, Aamir Khan Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Salman Khan Films.## "It's very easy for Bollywoodiyas to speak against #CAA or @narendramodi as they can't hit back but you need real courage and spine to speak against the powerful people in this list. Shahid Kapoor has been on a roll for the last couple of years and with the massive success of last year's intense romantic drama "Kabir Singh", Shahid has included himself in the list of top actors of Indian cinema. Since Kabir Singh, the actor seems to have been grabbing all the big projects, be it the Hindi remake of Jersey or Shashank Khaitan's next film Yoddha. ## Now, according to the industry insiders, Shahid is all set to mark his digital debut with an Amazon Prime web series. The Padmaavat actor has reportedly signed a two seasoned web series with the Family Man director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK aka Raj & DK. ## According to a source quoted in PeepingMoon, "Shahid has signed the series and currently working out on the dates as the shooting timelines for Raj & DK show are coinciding with Shashank Khaitan's film. If things turned out well, Shahid will begin shooting from February 2021 on the series". ## The directors have already started working on the series that is said to be an action thriller. Raj & D.K. will start properly on the show after the premiere of their much-anticipated second season of The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Samantha Akkineni, and others. ## Apart from this, Shahid is in advance talk with the streaming platform, Netflix for a multi-project deal. AB de Villiers proved his undeniable brilliance yet again and played a memorable knock on a tough pitch for the batsmen. At Sharjah's pitch which has been a batting paradise so far, was on a slower side for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders' match on Monday (October 12). ## While all the other batsmen were struggling to find runs, AB de Villiers came and single-handedly stole the show for his sensational knock of unbeaten 73 off 33 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes. His knock helped RCB to register a massive win 82-runs in the IPL 2020. ## RCB's skipper Virat Kohli heaped praise on ABD with whom, he added 100 runs off just 46 balls. He said that the team was looking to get around 165-170 runs but because of the ABD's masterful innings, they could reach on such a big target of 194 in 20 overs. ## "At the toss, the pitch didn't have the usual Sharjah sheen. Knew the wicket was going to get slower and slower. Barring one super-human, everyone struggled on that pitch. The talk was around 165-170. The preparation was really good. The three-week camp helped us. Have clarity of plans. Know exactly what we want to do on the field. It all depends on the mindset. It's very positive", Virat said in the post-match presentation with Murali Kartik. ## "On a pitch like that, only AB can do that. It was a special knock. We got 195 purely because of the genius of that man. Always things you can reflect on and say you can improve on these things. All about taking this momentum forward. Don't want to be complacent", he added. ## Meanwhile, RCB is moved up in the points table. With 5 wins in 7 matches, the three times finalist is currently sitting at number 3 with 10 points after Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Actor R Madhavan has hailed the action of detainment of the 16-year-old boy in Gujarat, for allegedly issuing a rape threat against cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's minor daughter last week.## The teenager issued the threat after Dhoni's team Chennai Super Kings lost a match to Kolkata Knight Riders in an IPL match last week. After this incident, many people had expressed concern and now, the boy was detained on Sunday from Kutch district, Gujrat. ## "Teenager Detained For Issuing Threats Against MS Dhoni's Daughter: Police Great job. Time to clamp down and put the fear of law and god on these faceless monsters who think they can do and say what they want on the internet. Even if they are teens", Madhavan tweeted.## The teenager "confessed" to have posted the threatening message on the Instagram account after the IPL 2020 match between KKR and CSK, the police said as stated by NDTV.## On the work front, Madhavan was recently seen in the OTT-released thriller film "Nishabdham", co-starring Anushka Shetty and Hollywood star Michael Madsen.
