Box Office: 'Inside Out 2' Becomes Highest-Grossing Movie of 2024 Worldwide

Mumbai, June 24 - Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 has become the highest-grossing film of 2024 within just 2 weeks, beating the entire worldwide collection of Warner Bros. Pictures' Dune: Part 2 as the animated coming-of-age heading towards becoming the first billion-dollar grosser of the year. ## The sequel to Inside Out (2015) has had an excellent second weekend at the domestic (North America) and worldwide box office with $264+ million, taking its total global cume to $724+ million (6050 crores) in just 12 days, beating Dune 2's $711 million final run. ## IO2 scored $100 million in its second weekend in North America, becoming the first animated movie and 7th overall to do so. The total domestic collection reached $355 million (2965 crores) and the lifetime domestic total is projected to finish around $650 million. ## Overseas, the movie has grossed $369 million (3085 crores) after adding another huge $164+ million in the second weekend. Mexico is the biggest overseas market for the movie with $64 million, followed by the UK with $29.2 million, and Korea with $29 million. In India, the movie has grossed approximately 20 crores ($2.4 million) in 10 days so far. ## Inside Out 2 is projected to finish its worldwide run around $1.5 billion, which will put it among the top 3 highest-grossing animated movies of all time. The first Inside Out film $857 million worldwide in 2015 and it is currently the 20th biggest animated grosser. ## Stay tuned...
