Actors Dia Mirza and Sonu Sood have been roped in to co-host the documentary series "Bharat Ke Mahaveer" to celebrate the country's selfless heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic.## The three-part series is a joint initiative between the United Nations in India and NITI Aayog to showcase 12 stories of unsung heroes who displayed "strength and solidarity" amid the pandemic, with Discovery Channel.## Dia Mirza, who is UN Secretary-General's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocate, said India has shown the world how people's united power can overcome "any adversity".## "Instead of self-interest, we have seen an outpouring of solidarity during the pandemic. People are banding together to spread love, compassion, and positivity through their actions, thereby ensuring that the most vulnerable are not left behind. I am proud to call myself an Indian and proud to be part of this excellent initiative", Mirza said in a statement.## Sood Sood, who has been at the forefront of COVID-related relief activities, said the pandemic has been "painful" but it didn't deter individuals to show an extraordinary sense of empathy.## "The almighty has been benevolent to me, and has given me means to help others, and I tried in my small way, but some of the stories I have read are of individuals with limited means but who with their strong will – moved mountains. The covid-19 pandemic has hit the showbiz, due to which the production of the films was forced to shut down followed by theatres, cinema halls, and multiplexes being closed in the lockdown in the month of March. ## The shutdown of showbiz was a big setback for the filmmakers and exhibitors, and to overcome this, the filmmakers took to the OTT route to release their films, which was heavily criticized by cinema owners. Now, they have decided not to release any of OTT releases in theatres as the government has allowed reopening cinemas from October 15. ## There was talk that films premiered on OTT platforms in which Sushant Singh Rajput's last movie Dil Bechara, Shakuntala Devi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Sadak 2, Gulabo Sitabo, and Khuda Haafiz are prominant, might release in cinemas, but the leading multiplex chains (PVR, Cinepolis, Inox, and Carnival) have decided against it. ## IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT... Spear and Superman punch are two of his moves which got worldly fame.## Roman Reigns moves list:## 1. Throat thrust: Also known as throat strike or sword stab. Similar to a conventional wrestling uppercut, the wrestler strikes the opponent's throat upwards with the tips of all five stiffed fingers of a supine hand. Abdullah the Butcher and Sgt. Slaughter were professional wrestlers known for its use as a signature move.## 2. Clothesline: A move in which one wrestler runs towards another extending their arm out from the side of the body and parallel to the ground, hitting the opponent in the neck or chest, knocking them over. This move is often confused with a lariat.## 3. DDT: DDT is any move in which the wrestler has the opponent in a front facelock/inverted headlock and falls down or backward to drive the opponent's head into the mat.## 4. Bigg Boot: This attack is usually done with the opponent charging towards the wrestler, using the opponent's momentum to deliver the wrestler's sole to the upper-body or head.## 5. Powerbomb: Powerbomb is a move when the opponent is lifted both legs around the neck and then slammed back-first down to the mat.## 6. Samoan drop: The wrestler drapes an opponent over their shoulders in a fireman's carry position then falls backward, driving the opponent down to the mat on their back.## 7. Sit-out powerbomb: A powerbomb is a professional wrestling throw in which an opponent is lifted (usually so that they are sitting on the wrestler's shoulders) and then slammed back-first down to the mat.## 8. Spear: The two wrestlers are wildly known for Spear and it surely hails The Big Dog and Bill Goldberg. In this move, the wrestler creates a motion full rush by half waist-down and hits on the opponent's stomach by his single-depended shoulder.## 9. Superman Punch: Roman Reigns holds the best chance to witness this move. The move involves smashing the leg in the back direction to feign a kick which creates a sudden impact of getting blur.## 10. Guillotine Choke: The wrestler faces their opponent, who is bent over. The attacking wrestler tucks the opponent's head underneath their armpit and wraps one arm around the neck so that the forearm is pressed against the throat, as in a front chancery.## The attacking wrestler then wraps their legs around the opponent's midsection with a body scissors and arches backwards, pulling the opponent's head forward, stretching the torso and the neck. Actress Kangana Ranaut seems to be digging in trouble for her anti-farmer tweet last month in which he called terrorists to those people who, as Kangana thinks, were spreading misinformation about the farm laws passed by the Parliament. The Tumkuru district police on Tuesday (October 13) registered a case against the actress for her tweet against farmers who were protesting against the farm laws.## Last week, a Tumkuru court had directed the local Kyatasandra police station to book Kangana Ranaut for her tweet on farmers. The ruling came after a complaint was lodged by advocate L. Ramesh Naik last month.## "My case against popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not to gain any publicity but to convey to her that what she did was wrong. When farmers take to the streets to protest against any government policy, they are not necessarily terrorists, as she thinks. I have joined many such protests, am I a terrorist? I need clarification on this and therefore I am fighting this case", Naik told IANS as quoted in India TV report.## On September 21, Kangana had tweeted, "People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about farmers' bills and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists".## Alleging that the tweet amounted to causing provocation, hurt, the enmity between groups, and intentional insult, Naik had filed the complaint against the actress in the Tumkur court on September 28 after the Tumkuru police refused to entertain his complaint.## Kangana is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film "Thalaivi" in which she is portraying the character of a late actress and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayaram Jayalalithaa.## Stay tuned...

Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri says it is only a few bad people who are responsible for the bad image of this Bollywood industry adding that it takes a lot of courage to speak against the powerful people like he and Kangana Ranaut have spoken. ## Agnihotri opened up on the subject when he expressed his opinion on 34 Bollywood production houses and four film associations filing a civil suit in Delhi High Court against certain news channels for allegedly defaming the industry.## "Can the public sue Bollywood for destroying music, lyrics, language, art, creativity, social fabric, and culture of India?" Vivek tweeted.## Actor Gulshan Devaiah responded to his post about Bollywood destroying Indian culture, writing, "Careful Good sir!! By this logic some idiots might try to sue you too for some of your "earlier work".## To which, Vivek responded that he used to make crap movies but now has realized and left the company of Bollywood to fight against the corrupt system. "Absolutely. When like you, I was trying to fit in, I also made crap like your masters. But then I realised and left Bollywood and now I am fighting to reform this corrupt system.
