A day after Dabangg movie director Abhinav Singh Kashyap made serious allegations on Salman Khan and his family for destroying his career, Salman Khan along with family filed a defamation case against the director for defaming them publicly. ## According to a report in news daily, Arbaaz Khan has broken the silence regarding this controversy and said that he had nothing to do with Abhinav Singh Kashyap ever since they started working on Dabangg 2. The had already parted their ways professionally after Dabangg in 2010. Now, the Khan family has hit back to the director and filed a case against for defaming them.## In another report quoted by Filmfare, a source close to Salman Khan said that Abhinav Kashyap has been facing mental issues since the last few years and there is no truth in what he has said on social media. ## The controversy sparked after the 34-year old actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 at his Mumbai apartment. He was battling depression for a long time. He reportedly loses 6-7 movies in the past year that led him to depression. ## After his death, Abhinav Singh Kashyap wrote a long post on Facebook revealing how some people including Salman Khan and his family running the whole industry. The International Space University (ISU) in France has paid tribute in a statement to the actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead at his Bandra apartment on Sunday (June 14). Dabangg movie director Abhinav Singh Kashyap recently took to Facebook and revealed that after Dabangg film in 2010, Arbaaz Khan and family sabotaged his career and the sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed his mental health which has not only affect his professional life but the personal life also. ## The director's post came after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14, who said to be in depression for a long time. His death has also revealed the dirty truth of Bollywood that does not care about an outsider and treats such people badly.## Abhinav Singh Kashyap who is the brother of filmmaker Anurag Singh Kashyap wrote in his post that the government must launch a detailed investigation in Sushant's case. He compared the actor's death with the MeToo movement that revealed the dirty image of Bollywood.## In a long Facebook post, Abhinav wrote, "My appeal to the Government to launch a detailed investigation. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr. Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me. I had to return the signing money to Shree Ashtavinayak films and moved to Viacom Pictures. They did the same thing."## "Only this time the sabotager was Sohail Khan and he intimidated the then Viacom CEO, Vikram Malhotra. My project was sabotaged and I was made to return my signing fee of Rupees 7 Crores plus interest of Ninety odd lacs. Its only then that Reliance Entertainment came to my rescue and we forged an enduring partnership for my film Besharam."## He further revealed that "Over the next few years, all my projects and creative endeavors have been sabotaged and I have been repeatedly threatened with life and rape threats given to/for the female members of my family. The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family and led to my divorce and breaking up of my family in 2017. They erred and sent some of these threats as texts, sent to me as sms from several numbers."## "Armed with evidence, I went to the police in 2017 to file an FIR which they refused to register but registered a non-cognizable complaint. When the threats continued, I forced the police to trace the numbers but they couldn't be traced back to Sohail Khan(the suspected sender). Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died after committing suicide. He has left his loved ones and his colleagues mourning at his untimely demise. Sushant was battling with depression for a long time. After his death, the focus has been shifted on his rumored girlfriend, Jalebi actress Rhea Chakraborty.## Rhea was one of the two persons Sushant called along with his Pavitra Rishta co-star Mahesh Shetty before taking the big decision. However, Sushant and Rhea never confirmed their relationship but they were said to be living together during the lockdown before Rhea moved to a friends’ place. ## However, despite not confirming their relationship, their fans always rooted for them and wanted to see them together in a movie. Now, the writer, director Rumy Jafry confirmed that the duo of Sushant and Rhea was all set to do their first film together that was going to be a romantic-comedy. ## Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Rumy Jafry revealed, “The script was locked and we were to begin shooting in May. The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown delayed things. I lost Irrfan Khan, then Rishi Kapoor and Wajid, and now Sushant. I am so disturbed, my father has asked me to return home to Bhopal.”## While we all know that Sushant was a very talented versatile actor, the film was also supposed to reveal his dancing skills. “He was a fantastic dancer and my film would have showcased him in a different light. Actress Anushka Sharma and the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video got in the fresh trouble after Punjab and Haryana high court issued a notice against them for allegedly defaming Sikh Community in the web series Paatal Lok. The notice of motion was issued to the Union of India and 15 other respondents by the bench of Justice Arun Kumar Tyagi. ## The petitioner has objected the episode number 3 on “A History of Violence” that was set in a village in Punjab. Petitioner-advocate Gurdeepinder Singh Dhillon said, “The respondents have purposely and maliciously within the intent of creating communal disharmony and caste-based clashes have shown two communities in a bad light."## It is not the first time the series got a notice for hurting particular community sentiments, a few days ago, ex MLA of Delhi and Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee president, Manjinder Singh Sirsa also raised questions over Paatal Lok and demand for its ban for presenting Sikh Community as rapists. Former team India opener Gautam Gambhir has said on Monday (June 15) that Virat Kohli may have scored so many runs and have broken many records but as a leader, Kohli has a lot to achieve. ## While speaking to Star Sports’ Cricket Connected, Gautam Gambhir said, "You can keep scoring your own runs. There are people like Brian Lara who’s got so many runs. People like Jacques Kallis who have won nothing, Virat Kohli, at the moment, has won nothing to be honest, as a leader.”## “He has a lot to achieve. He can keep scoring his own runs. But for me, in a team sport, till the time you don’t win those big trophies, you will never be considered... probably you will never fulfill your entire career,” Gambhir further said.## Gambhir also said that there are players in the team who can never match Kohli's intensity as a player. Legendary Indian opener Sunil Gavaskar said that the BCCI should consider holding the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in Sri Lanka in September as he thinks that BCCI's plan of organizing the tournament in October looking far from reality after the Australia government has formally announced that 25 percent crowd can turn up for sporting events that have opened the door for the T20 World Cup that is scheduled to play in Australia in October. ## "After the announcement by the Australian government, there seems to be a possibility of conducting a World T20 in October. Maybe the teams will have to reach three weeks earlier, have seven days of practice games and also 14-day quarantine," Gavaskar told Sports Tak of Aaj Tak.## "If ICC believes that World T20 can happen, then having IPL looks difficult because it could only be held if World T20 is postponed but after the announcement (by Australia PM Scott Morrison), IPL in October looks difficult," he added.## While the T20 World Cup is looking more imminent than the IPL in October, Sunny G believes that holding IPL in Sri Lanka in September makes more sense as it can't be held in India around that time because of the monsoon.## "September you can't have IPL in India due to monsoon. But maybe in Sri Lanka from early September with teams playing each other once instead of a double header. Maybe you can think of that," Gavaskar said. ## The 70-year old also thinks that without the crowd, cricket will be a different experience as fans lift players' game. "Fans lift your game.
