Chennai, October 14 - In probably first of its kind experiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to be used to dub Tamil star Suriya's voice in all languages in the upcoming much-anticipated Pan India movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. ## Producer Gnanavel Raja has said (via Only Kollywood) that there will be a fresh new style for Kanguva in terms of its worldwide dubbing, as the makers are opting for an AI process, which will make the lead character's vocals very similar to that of Suriya, through the technology.## It is said that different people will dub for Suriya in each language but it will later be altered to the actor's voice to give it an original feel.## Kanguva is the biggest movie for Suriya in terms of budget and scale. It has been one of the keenly-awaited Pan India movies that also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. Mumbai, October 14 - Dharma Productions' love story drama Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri has reportedly been postponed to the next year. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. According to Bollywood Hungama, it has now been postponed and the producers are looking at releasing the film on February 21, 2025.## Subject to the official announcement, Dhadak 2 will clash with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 which is already confirmed for February 21, 2025, release. Tripti Dimri's birthday falls on February 23, so it will be a birthday treat if the movie is officially confirmed for a February 21 release.## The original movie, Pariyerum Perumal follows a law student from a lower caste who begins a friendship with his classmate, a girl who belongs to a higher caste, and the men in her family start giving him trouble over this. Hyderabad, October 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 defied mixed reviews to emerge as a big success at the worldwide box office, surpassing 400 crore gross collection.## Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie has minted approximately 401 crores which includes 324 crores gross at the domestic box office and an estimated 77 crores overseas through the third weekend (17 days). With this, it has become the second Telugu movie and the fourth Indian title of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to top 400 crores worldwide gross after RRR, also starring Ram Charan. While the multiple factors worked in the favor of RRR, the latest box office hit has purely been carried by the stardom of Jr. NTR. ## Overall, Devara: Part 1 is the 7th Telugu movie of all time to achieve the milestone of 400 crores worldwide gross, after Saaho, Baahubali: The Beginning, Salaar: Ceasefire, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR, and Baahubali 2. Chennai, October 14 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe has been the talk of the town for the last few years. All three films, starting with Karthi's Kaithi (2019), followed by Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022) and Thalapathy Vijay's Leo (2023) have been huge successes at the box office. ## In a recent media interaction, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently directing superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie as a standalone movie, talked about the LCU. Hyderabad, October 13 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara is turning into one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of 2025. Whatever asset the makers have released so far has hit the bull's eye, including the teaser which has taken things a notch higher. ## The teaser of Vishwambhara was launched on October 12 on the occasion of Dussehra and it received unanimously positive reception from fans. On YouTube, the teaser scored a massive 21 million views in the first 24 hours, making it the second most-watched Telugu teaser of the year. ## Among the all-time most-watched Telugu teasers in the first 24 hours, Vishwambhara is at 4th after Radhe Shyam (42.6 million), Sarkaru Vaari Paata (23 million) and Intro Pushpa 2 - The Rule (22.50 million). This is a sensational response which speaks a lot about the hype around the film. ## Vishwambhara is directed by Mallidi Vassishta and it marks his first film with megastar Chiranjeevi. Mumbai, October 12 - Actress Divya Khosla Kumar has called out Bollywood star Alia Bhatt for allegedly faking the collection of her latest movie Jigra. The former took to Instagram stories to point out alleged malpractice. ## In her Insta stories, Divya shared a photo of an empty theatre and claimed that all theatres are going empty for Jigra. The actress also alleged that Alia has bought tickets by herself and announced a fake collection of her movie, Jigra. ## "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty... all theatres going empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Chennai, October 12 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan has topped 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office after the super strong second day. The movie had a mid-week release on Thursday and despite that, it took a solid opening of 64 crores globally. ## On its second day/first Friday, Vettaiyan dropped just around 25% at the domestic box office and grossed approximately 27.80 crores. Additionally, the movie minted approximately 14 crores gross collection internationally, making it a 42 crores gross second day worldwide. ## The rock-solid collection on Friday pushed the total to past 100 crores gross at approximately 105.80 crores, including 64.80 crores gross in India and 41 crores overseas. With this, it has become the 25th Indian movie and 5th Tamil movie of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Vettaiyan is the third movie of superstar Rajinikanth to top 100 crores worldwide gross collection post the Covid-19 pandemic after Annaatthe (2021) and Jailer (2023). The actor will face Jackie Shroff in the movie and on Saturday, the makers unveiled the first look glimpse of the character of the veteran actor. ## After sharing a teaser poster, the makers shared a minute-long video on the occasion of Dussehra in which we get to see Jackie's ruthless, bloody villainous never-before-seen avatar as the 'evil' Babbar Sher in a prison. Chennai, October 11 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan is heading for a superb first weekend after a very good hold on its second day at the domestic box office. The movie had a very good start with 37 crores gross collection domestically. ## On its second day/first Friday, the movie is holding its ground firmly, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. According to early estimates, Vettaiyan is expected to gross around 18 crores in Tamil Nadu, dropping under 15% which is a good hold. ## In Karnataka, the movie is estimated to score around 3 crore gross and the gross collection in the same range is expected at the Kerala box office. In Telugu states, the film is estimated to score 2.25-2.50 crores while in the rest of India market is expected to gross around 75 lakh. ## Overall, Vettaiyan is headed for 27-28 crores gross second day at the domestic box office, dropping around 30% which is a good hold. Mumbai, October 11 - Bollywood star Alia Bhatt returns to the big screen with director Vasan Bala's action thriller Jigra since romantic comedy-drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in July 2023.## Jigra generated decent hype after the trailer release, however, this couldn't turn into box office numbers as the opening of the film is below the mark. According to early estimates, the movie scored in the range of 4.25-4.50 crores on its opening day. ## The opening of Jigra is somehow on the projected lines due to the genre but the presence of Alia was anticipated to bring bigger opening day numbers which couldn't happen. The word of mouth for the movie is mixed and it needs to be seen how it fairs over the Dusshera weekend which is crucial. ## While Jigra fumbles to take a respectable start, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's romantic comedy Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video surprises with the bigger opening. The genre has more appeal than that of Jigra and this was clearly visible in the opening day footfalls. ## According to the early estimates, VVKVWV scored 5-5.50 crores net collection on its first day which is a decent to good start.
