Hyderabad, September 25 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has completed its box office journey with over 1000 crore gross collection worldwide. It is the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2024 and one of the highest-grossers of all time.## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 amid huge anticipation and it didn't disappoint by scoring positive reception which was enough for it to set the box office on fire. The movie opened to a historic collection of over 175 crores worldwide and never looked back since then. ## Kalki has the biggest opening for an Indian movie of 2024 and the third biggest of all time after RRR and Baahubali. Aravindha Sametha at present is the biggest solo opening-day grosser for the actor with approximately 58 crore worldwide gross collection. ## It needs to be seen how far Devara can go at the box office, but the trade is projecting around $5 million (42 crores gross) overseas start and easily over 50 crore gross in India and with such projection, the movie is in a very good position to open with 100 crores worldwide gross. Mumbai, September 24 - After finishing as a flop in its original run, folk horror thriller Tumbbad has turned things around big time in its re-release run to not only emerge a box office hit but also become the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office.## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad has been on a fantastic repeat run since its re-launch on September 13. The movie hasn't dropped below the 1 crore mark in 11 days so far while in its original run, it crossed the 1 crore mark only two times before finishing its run with a 13.50 crore net collection. ## In 11 days of its re-release so far, Tumbbad has grossed approximately 25.75 crores (21.75 crores net) and sometime during its 12th day, it will cross Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli (26 crores gross approx.) to become the biggest re-release grosser in India in the 21st century. ## As said, Tumbbad and Ghill are the only two movies to cross the 20 crore gross mark in their repeat runs at the Indian box office. James Cameron's Titanic is the third biggest re-release grosser in India with approximately 18 crores gross, followed by Sholday 3D and Laila Majnu with approximately 13 crores gross and 11 crores gross, respectively. ## The total worldwide collection of Tumbbad (including the original run) is approximately 41.50 crores gross and it is heading towards finishing around 50 crores gross which is a huge achievement. ## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, September 24 - Producer Sohum Shah's horror thriller Tumbbad emerged as a big success in its re-release run at the box office. The movie continues to throw a surprise despite the competition from other movies.## Tumbbad re-release had a fantastic second-weekend collection of approximately 7.60 crores net which was bigger than the first weekend (7.25 crores net). On its second Monday, the folk thriller remained around 1 crore net collection, pushing its total re-release collection to around 21.75 crore net in 11 days. ## The movie is on the verge of becoming the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office by crossing Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli. Hyderabad, September 23 - The second and final trailer of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has increased the buzz further for the movie with the superb response across social media platforms. ## While the first trailer of the movie scored around 15 million views across all languages in the first 24 hours, the final trailer called the release trailer alone scored 16+ million during the same period on YouTube. ## In Telugu, trailer number 2 scored 16.20 million views, followed by 3 million in Hindi and around 1 million in other languages for 20+ million total views in the first 24 hours. As said, the first trailer scored 10.40 million in Telugu and a little over 3 million views in Hindi. ## The excellent response to Devara's final trailer speaks the excitement about the movie among the fans which can also be understood in the initial pre-sales response which is fantastic. If the momentum continues, the movie is up for a superb opening at the box office.## Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. Hyderabad, September 23 - Megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela has set a Guinness World Record and was honoured with the award of the most prolific star in the Indian film industry on Sunday, September 22 in Hyderabad.## The veteran Telugu star set a record for his dance performances with over 537 songs and 24,000 dance moves in 46 years. No other actor in and outside India has achieved this milestone. The certificate was handed over by a representative of the Guinness World Records.## The event also saw Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan sharing that stage with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The certificate presented to the legendary actor read "The most prolific film star in the Indian Film Industry-actor/dancer is Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star achieved on 20 September 2024".## "If you watch any of his songs, his heart is completely in it.
