Hyderabad, September 23 - The second and final trailer of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has increased the buzz further for the movie with the superb response across social media platforms. ## While the first trailer of the movie scored around 15 million views across all languages in the first 24 hours, the final trailer called the release trailer alone scored 16+ million during the same period on YouTube. ## In Telugu, trailer number 2 scored 16.20 million views, followed by 3 million in Hindi and around 1 million in other languages for 20+ million total views in the first 24 hours. As said, the first trailer scored 10.40 million in Telugu and a little over 3 million views in Hindi. ## The excellent response to Devara's final trailer speaks the excitement about the movie among the fans which can also be understood in the initial pre-sales response which is fantastic. If the momentum continues, the movie is up for a superb opening at the box office.## Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. Hyderabad, September 23 - Megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela has set a Guinness World Record and was honoured with the award of the most prolific star in the Indian film industry on Sunday, September 22 in Hyderabad.## The veteran Telugu star set a record for his dance performances with over 537 songs and 24,000 dance moves in 46 years. No other actor in and outside India has achieved this milestone. The certificate was handed over by a representative of the Guinness World Records.## The event also saw Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan sharing that stage with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The certificate presented to the legendary actor read "The most prolific film star in the Indian Film Industry-actor/dancer is Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star achieved on 20 September 2024".## "If you watch any of his songs, his heart is completely in it. Mumbai, September 23 - Aamir Khan's production venture Laapataa Ladies has been picked as India's official entry for the Oscars 2025, the Film Federation of India announced on Monday. ## The comedy-drama film, directed by Kiran Rao, tells the story of two young newly-wed brides who get exchanged during a train ride to their husband's homes. It stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan, in key roles.## Laapataa Ladies was released on March 1st this year amid positive critical reception. The movie did decently at the box office, grossing approximately 27.50 crores worldwide before emerging as a big success on streaming with over 17 million views.## The 13-member select committee headed by Assamese director Jahnu Barua unanimously decided on Laapataa Ladies as India's Oscars 2025 entry. It is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Jio Studios. ## There were 29 films in the race to get picked for Oscars entry, and some of the films include Bollywood blockbuster Animal, Malayalam National Award winner Aattam, and Cannes winner All We Imagine As Light along with Tamil film Maharaja, Telugu title Kalki 2898 AD, and Bollywood films Swatantraya Veer Savarkar and Article 370 were also on the list.## Last year, Malayalam mega-blockbuster - 2018: Everyone Is A Hero, was sent to the Oscars.## Stay tuned...

Chennai, September 23 - Tamil star Suriya has requested fans to stop their obsession with the box office collection of movies and that they should only enjoy the films and stories. ## The actor was present during the audio launch event of Karthi's Meiyazhagan, which is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, the Kanguva star made a heartfelt request to his fans. The actor called on fans to stop engaging in online battles with other fans over box office figures. ## Fan wars over collections among the fans is pretty common in South India and this sometimes turns into a very serious matter. Hyderabad, September 23 - Power star Pawan Kalyan is set to resume the filming of his long-in-the-making Hari Hara Veera Mallu on September 23rd. This is the first assignment of the superstar since his election victory earlier in June this year which saw him becoming the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state. ## The shoot of HHVM was supposed to commence at the beginning of this month but the plan was deferred due to flooding in Vijayawada. Now, as the movie is gearing up to resume filming, the makers have also locked the official release date. ## On Monday (September 23), the makers took to X and confirmed that Hari Hara Veera Mallu Par 1 - Sword and Spirit would be released worldwide on March 28, 2025, in multiple languages. It will clash with Vijay Deverakonda's VD 12 which is also scheduled for the same date. ## The movie is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna and produced by Mega Surya Production. Mumbai, September 23 - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted horror-comedy Stree 2 is on the historic run at the domestic box office. The movie has taken full advantage of the lack of competition and is now in touching distance with Jawan to outgross it and become the biggest Hindi grosser domestically. ## Directed by Amar Kaushik, the mega-blockbuster sequel is going through an excellent sixth week domestically. In just 3 days, Stree 2 has become the biggest 6th-week grosser in the Hindi language, beating Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan by a long margin. ## The movie has scored approximately 13.65 crores net collection in the 6th weekend, surpassing the total sixth-week collection of Jawan (10.60 crores net). Stree 2 aims to finish the full 6th week with around 16 crores net collection. ## It has so far scored approximately 577.50 crores net collection in 39 days and is just 5 crores away from topping Jawan (582 crores net) and becoming the biggest single language grosser at the Indian box office. Stree 2 is expected to create history during the 7th weekend.## At the worldwide box office, the Maddock Films' production has grossed approximately 821+ crores, including 689 crores gross in India and an estimated 132 crores overseas collection. Mumbai, September 22 - Folk horror thriller Tumbbad re-release put up another good show and scored the biggest second weekend than the first one at the domestic box office. It has also crossed 20 crores net through the second weekend. ## After getting the benefit of National Cinema Day on the second Friday and holding strong on Saturday, the acclaimed flick remained on the level of the second Saturday collection as it scored around 2.50 crores net collection on its second Sunday (10th day). ## The total second weekend of Tumbbad re-release is approximately 7.60 crores net which is higher than the first weekend collection of 7.25 crores net. The super positive word of mouth is coming into play which is providing a strong day-wise trend at the box office.## After the second weekend (10 days), the total re-release collection of the movie is around 20.75 crores net which is already more than 50% of the lifetime original collection (13.50 crores net) of Tumbbad. Mumbai, September 22 - Producer Sohum Shah's folk horror thriller Tumbbad continues to surprise with the superb day-wise trend at the box office since its re-release over a week ago. ## After a good first-week collection of 13.15 crores net, the movie began the second weekend with an excellent jump of over 100% on Friday due to National Cinema Day, scoring approximately 2.75 crores. Tumbbad again showed a fantastic hold on Saturday and stayed over the 2 crore mark. ## On its second Saturday (9th day), the acclaimed flick scored approximately 2.35 crores net, dropping just under 20% from NCD collection. This took the total re-release collection of Tumbbad to approximately 18.25 crores net in 9 days, already around 35% more than the film's lifetime original run (13.50 crores). ## Tumbbad is expected to score a further jump on its third Sunday and will cross the 20 crore net mark in just 10 days. Chennai, September 21 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has emerged as a huge blockbuster in the home state, Tamil Nadu where it has crossed 200 crore gross collection and become only the third movie of all time to archive the feat. ## Despite the mixed reviews, The GOAT has been on the rampage mode since it was released on September 5 and has done the unthinkable by entering the 200 crore club in the state. It topped the milestone on its third Saturday (17th day). ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT (204 crore gross) is the third movie after Leo (215+ crore gross) and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 (213 crore gross) to reach the 200 crore mark in TN.
