Hyderabad, August 13 - Telugu director Nag Ashwin teamed up with Pan India superstar Prabhas on Kalki 2898 AD which stormed the box office and has become one of the biggest Indian grossers of all time by topping 1000 crores worldwide. ## Kalki 2898 AD is the first installment in the planned Kalki universe but it seems the second film will take some time to get on the floors. The blockbuster filmmaker has announced his next film, tentatively titled Project S and has teamed up with the iconic production house AVM Productions for the same.## The details about the project are not revealed yet but the makers announced on social media that they are looking for associate directors based in Hyderabad for Project S. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD's working title was Project K and with his next being called Project S, the fans are drawing similarities. ## However, both the movies are unrelated as Prabhas-starrer was produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, another iconic production studio. Chennai, August 13 - The much-anticipated trailer of Tamil star Suriya's fantasy action thriller film Kanguva was released on August 12 and it largely met with positive reception. Directed by Siva, the movie also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in prominent roles.## Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, the Kanguva trailer scored 19+ million views in the first 24 hours and it was the most-viewed video on YouTube in the world in the past 24 hours. Additionally, the trailer scored 700K+ likes during the same period.## The trailer of the movie was released in multiple languages in a single video on the Saregama Tamil YouTube channel. It said it is available in five languages - Tamil, along with the dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Malayala, and Kannada versions.## Scheduled to be released on October 10, Kanguva's reportedly story travels 500 years from the 1700s to 2023 about a Hero who has to fulfil a mission left unfinished. Mumbai, August 13 - Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri's romantic drama Laila Majnu is having a fantastic re-release run at the domestic box office and is all set to surpass its lifetime original run in the flat 5 days which is an incredible achievement.## The Sajid Ali's directorial movie scored approximately 70 lakh gross collection on its first Monday (4th day) which is almost 3X of the opening day (25 lakh gross). The total collection of the movie is now approximately 2.85 crores gross in 4 days which is already higher than the film's first week total of the original run.## Laila Majnu will outgross its final original run of approximately 3.20 crores gross in India in the flat 5 days which is an outstanding achievement. The movie is trending much better than anticipated as it went almost unnoticed during its original run back in 2018.## The film's trend indicates a long run, however, it might be cut short due to the arrival of the hugely-awaited Stree 2 along with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa on August 15. However, the film's re-release run has so far shown that there is a demand for it which may help it retain enough shows amid the intense box office fight to keep running. ## If Laila Majnu manages to stay strong amid the new releases, it can surely go past the recently re-released Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar which grossed over 10 crores in India. ## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, August 12 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career in the form of Jawan which was released last year. The movie was directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee and has other cast and crew from Tamil cinema.## Jawan was lauded by critics and audiences alike for having the South Indian flavour in terms of providing big-scale action entertainment and no wonder, King Khan has lauded South Indian cinema, calling it fantastic in terms of cinematically and technically. ## During an interaction at the Locarno Film Festival where the Pathaan star was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the diversity of Indian cinema, and especially heaped high praise on Southern Indian film industries. ## "For years, the idea of regionalizing Indian cinema seemed wrong to me. Our country is so vast, and we don't just have different dialects but we have entirely different languages. There's Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, and so many more. It's all Indian cinema and some of the greatest storytelling in India comes from the South", said SRK.## He further added that "Cinematically and technically, South cinema is really fantastic. The movie was a box office success with over 350 crores worldwide, thanks to the equal contribution from overseas markets.## After the release of RRKPK, Karan Johar announced that his next directorial film wouldn't take much time and would be an action thriller film that he is currently scripting. Hyderabad, August 12 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's Murari has become the record Telugu re-release grosser after the excellent opening weekend at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Krishna Vamsi, Murari was re-released on August 9 on Mahesh Babu's 49th birthday and it scored approximately 5.25 crores worldwide on its opening day. The movie remained solid on Saturday to score another approximately 1.85 crores gross. ## On Sunday, the collection further dropped but it was solid with approximately 90 lakh which took its total re-release worldwide cume to 8 crores gross. In India, it has minted approximately 7.30 crores while overseas collection is 70 lakh.## As said, Murari's re-release collection of 8 crores is now the highest for any Telugu re-release title, surpassing Pawan Kalyan's Kushi which scored around 7.50 crores worldwide. It is heading towards finishing in the double-digit collection which is an excellent result.## Murari features Mahesh Babu in the title role along with Sonali Bendre in her Telugu debut, Lakshmi, Sukumari, Kaikala Satyanarayana, and Gollapudi Maruthi Rao in the key roles. Mumbai, August 12 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has returned to reprise his voice role as Mufasa in Disney's upcoming blockbuster Mufasa: The Lion King, a photorealistic animated, and both a prequel and sequel to the 2019 remake of the 1994 film The Lion King.## Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, his eldest son Aryan Khan is also back to reprise the voice role of Simba while the youngest Khan, AbRam, will make his voice-acting debut as young Mufasa in the Hindi dubbed version. ## The movie is directed by Barry Jenkins, Mufasa: The Lion King story follows the orphan Mufasa, who is befriended by the young prince Taka and adopted by Taka's family; the pair become as close as brothers. Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog add colour commentary. ## Disney announced the voiceover re-casting of Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan with the new addition of AbRam in the official Hindi trailer of the movie.
