Kochi, March 13 - The Malayalam film industry has a new industry hit in the form of survival thriller Manjummel Boys. The Chidambaram's directorial has become the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating last year's 2018. ## Based on a true incident, Manjummel Boys has surpassed 2018's final domestic collection of 110.50 crores gross at the time of penning this piece. The movie minted around 109.50 crores through the third Tuesday (19 days) and with today's collection, it will be around 112 crores gross. ## Apart from becoming the biggest Malayalam domestic grosser, Manjummel Boys is also inches away from topping 2018's 180 crores gross collection to become the biggest Mollywood worldwide grosser. It will be around 173 crores at the end of the end by 4th Friday, it will claim the top spot. ## The movie has been creating history at the box office since its big-screen debut on February 22. Mumbai, March 13 - Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's action entertainer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie has Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the antagonist alongside Manushi Chillar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F as the female leads. ## Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is scheduled to be released on Eid this year and there is genuine curiosity among the fans for the film. The makers recently released the first teaser which received a blockbuster response and now, the trailer is set to hit screens in the last week of March. ## In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, producer Jackky Bhagnani confirmed that the BMCM trailer will be out on March 26, two weeks before the film's big screen debut. The trailer is going to be the most important asset of the film as a well-received trailer could skyrocket the buzz ahead of the release. ## The makers started the promotion of the film with a teaser back in January this year and they have so far released two songs as well. Kochi, March 13 - Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju's romantic comedy Premalu becomes the fifth Malayalam movie ever to top the 100 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. The movie achieved the milestone in its 5th week. ## Directed by Girish A. D., Premalu has been a kind of revolution at the box office. Made on a budget of around 10 crores, the movie faced competition from bigger films and despite that, it has been showing incredible legs at the box office. ## In India, Premalu has minted approximately 62+ crores gross while the overseas collection is an estimated 38 crores, for 100+ crores worldwide total after 33 days of its run. The movie was recently released in the Telugu dubbed version and has grossed over 2.50 crores in 5 days so far. ## It is the 5th Malayalam movie of all time to enter the 100 crores gross club. Superstar Mohanlal's Pulimurugan was the first to achieve the feat in 2016, followed by the actor's Lucifer in 2019. Los Angeles, March 13 - Robert Pattinson-led The Batman Part II release date has been postponed by a year and it will now be debuting in theatres in 2026. ## The sequel to director Matt Reeves' superhero movie The Batman was first announced during CinemaCon in April 2022 and in January 2023, the movie was officially scheduled for October 2025 release and has now been pushed back to October 2, 2026. ## According to The Hollywood Reporter, the delay in the film was caused by the writers' strike last year. It is said that the script of the sequel is far from being ready and the movie will only go on floors by early 2025. ## The Batman, which is a reboot of the Batman film franchise, was released in March 2022 and enjoyed a very good run at the box office. Los Angeles, March 13 - Tom Hardy-led third instalment in the superhero Venom franchise has an official title and a new release date. ## Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom 3 has been titled Venom: The Last Dance and is confirmed to hit big screens on October 25, 2024, moving up by two weeks from the previous date of November 8. It is intended to be the sixth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). ## The Venom franchise originated in 2018 and was directed by Ruben Fleischer. The movie was a big box office success, grossing over $850 million globally.
