Mumbai, November 5 - Director Rohit Shetty's action entertainer Singham Again has entered the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 4 days, becoming the 4th Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat after Fighter, Shaitaan, and Stree 2. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer had a very good first Monday worldwide with approximately 26 crores gross, including 21.50 crores (18 crores net) domestically. This pushed the total collection to approximately 213 crores gross worldwide which includes 167.50 crores gross in India and 45 crores overseas. ## Singham Again is the 6th movie of Ajay Devgn to hit 200 crores worldwide after Tanhaji, Drishyam 2, Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal, and Shaitaan. If includes RRR and Gangubabi Kathiawadi in which the actor played extended roles, then has a total of 8 movies in the 200 crores club. ## For director Rohit Shetty, the latest hit is the 7th movie to achieve the milestone of 200 crores while for actress Kareena Kapoor also, Singham 3 is her third movie in the prestigious box office club. Chennai, November 5 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe featuring some of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema has been the talk of the town and the maverick filmmaker has now shared the details of the upcoming films of LCU. ## The LCU began with Karthi's Kaithi in 2019, followed by Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022), and Thalapathy Vijay's Leo (2023), and all three films became massive hits. The next film in the universe is Raghava Lawrence's BENZ which Kanagaraj writes but he won't be directing it.## As already announced, Lokesh's next LCU directorial is Kaithi 2 which begins next year. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker said that he has plans to make Suriya's Rolex as a standalone film in the LCU and it will be next after the Kaithi sequel. ## Loki revealed that after Relox, he will make Vikram 2 and that will be the end of LCU. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has seemingly scrapped plans to make LEO 2 with which he wanted to conclude his cinematic universe. ## The director said that he would have made LEO 2 if Thalapathy Vijay hadn't announced his political entry. As known to all, Vijay has announced his retirement from films after his film with director H. Vinoth which is currently on floors. With this, the possibility of a sequel to Leo, which was supposed to happen, is also gone. ## However, Vijay might still appear in the universe, at least, one more time. Mumbai, November 4 - After the excellent first weekend with over 120 crores net collection, Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again scores a strong hold on the crucial first Monday with a drop of around 50% from Sunday which is fantastic considering the movie is coming after strong holiday weekend.## According to early estimates, the Rohit Shetty's directorial venture scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. This might go higher depending on mass belts but still fantastic numbers on the working day and in a major clash. This takes the total collection of the movie to around 139 crores net in 4 days.## The initial word of mouth seemed to be mixed but the strong Monday hold indicates the acceptance of the movie among the audience which is a good sign going forward as the movie has an open run with BB3. The first full week can be 175+ crores net which is fantastic. ## Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is also putting up a solid show at the box office and after legging behind Singham Again the opening weekend despite excellent numbers of 106 crores net, the movie has started matching the daily collection. ## Word of mouth for BB3 is positive which was expected to give the movie an edge over Singham Again at some point. According to the early estimates, the film scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. The numbers are pretty much similar to SA today and the exact position will be known by tomorrow morning. ## The total collection of BB3 is around 123+ crores net after 4 days and the first week is headed to 160 crores net which is excellent. As said, there is no new Bollywood film for at least a month so that is a big advantage of both BB3 and SA. Chennai, November 4 - Thalapathy Vijay has time and again proved that he is easily one of the biggest if not the biggest stars Tamil cinema has produced and the actor is gearing up to flex his mussels for one last time with Thalapathy 69, directed by H Vinoth. ## As confirmed by the actor, Thalapathy 69 is his last film as he is venturing into politics so the anticipation around the film is sky-high. The shoot for the same was recently commenced and the next schedule is ongoing where talkie portions are being filmed. ## Meanwhile, the theatrical rights of the film are already getting locked despite not a single asset from the film being released yet. Vijay's films have always been darlings in the trade and the same is happening with the upcoming one which has reportedly fetched a record overseas deal. ## According to the latest Tamil media reports, Phars Films has acquired overseas theatrical rights of T69 for 78 crore which is said to be the highest for a Tamil title. This is purely due to the stardom of Thalapathy Vijay whose last few films have done phenomenally at the international box office. ## T69 is produced by KVN Productions and this marks the studio's maiden Tamil venture. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Menon, Narain, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Chennai, November 4 - The countdown has begun for Suriya's most-anticipated fantasy action drama Kanguva which releases on November 14 worldwide. The film is directed by Siva and also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in prominent roles. ## Kanguva is easily one of the most hyped Tamil movies in recent times and cash in on this big opportunity, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to give it a massive release. During an event, the producers announced that Kanguva would get the widest release for a Tamil title worldwide. ## It is revealed that in the home state, Tamil Nadu, more than 700 screens have already been confirmed and the process is on to get more on board. In South India, more than 2500 screens have been confirmed while in North India, the movie will be released on over 3000 crores which is the widest ever for a Tamil title. ## In India, the movie is likely to be released on 6000 screens and put together with the overseas release, the makers announced that Kanguva will proudly be released on over 10,000 screens which is probably the widest release ever for a Tamil movie.## The film is produced by Studio Green and UV Creations. Mumbai, November 4 - The Bollywood releases on Diwali 2024, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a big first weekend each at the domestic box office. Both the movies managed to score 100+ crores each and this is the first time that 2 Bollywood films have scored 100 crores net each in the same weekend. ## Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn along with a strong supporting cast, was the biggest beneficiary during the holiday weekend. The movie scored approximately 121.75 crores net in 3 days and became the 123rd film to enter the 100 crores club in Hindi. ## It is the 14th movie of Ajay Devgn to enter the 100 crore club and the first 100 crore weekend opener for him, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 87.60 crores net. For director Rohit Shetty, Singham Again is his biggest and second movie to open with 100 crores net, after Chennai Express (100.50 crores net). ## The horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, despite the fewer screens, competed strongly in the clash with the cop actioner to score the opening weekend of approximately 106 crores net. It is the first movie of the actor and director Anees Bazmee to score 100 crore or more in the first weekend. ## BB3 is the 124th Hindi film to the 100 crore club and for Kartik, this is his 3rd movie to achieve the feat after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Los Angeles, November 4 - Superstar Allu Arjun's highly-anticipated action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule is all set for a thunderous start at the North American box office sensational response in the pre-sales in early trends. ## The pre-sales of the movie opened just yesterday and it has already sold over 11K tickets worth $300K from 2200 shows for the premiere. The premiere, scheduled on December 4, is still 31 days away and this response indicates one of the biggest openings or possibly the biggest for an Indian movie in North America. ## The buzz for the movie is at an all-time high, and considering that, the leading theatre chains such as Cinemark, Regal, Marcus, and Emagine have already opened full-fledged pre-sales there. The trade is expecting the momentum to continue till release and the plans have been made to give it the biggest release for an Indian title yet. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has been hot ever since the first part - Pushpa: The Rise released in 2021. Chennai, November 4 - The biographical war action drama Amaran has had a sensational first weekend at the domestic and worldwide box office, exceeding expectations by a long margin. The movie is proving to be a game changer for actor Sivakarthikeyan whose rise over the last few years has been noteworthy. ## Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran grossed around 25 crores domestically in India on Sunday, which took its total collection to approximately 95.50 crores in 4 days, making it the biggest domestic grosser for the actor. By today (5th day), it will become the first 100 crore domestic grosser for the actor. ## The domestic gross includes an excellent 66.50+ crores in the home state, Tamil Nadu and it will most likely enter the 100 crore club in the state by the second weekend. Apart from TN, the movie has done in Telugu states to gross around 16.00 crores, followed by 7.50 crores in Karnataka, 4.30+ crores in Kerala and over 1 crore in the rest of the domestic market.## Overseas, the film has grossed an estimated 43 crores in the 4-day opening weekend, pushing the total worldwide collection to around 138.50 crores. It has surpassed the lifetime total of Don (114 crores gross) to become Siva's biggest worldwide grosser in just 4 days which is remarkable. It is also the biggest grosser for director Periasamy and actress Sai Pallavi. ## Amaran is expected to surpass Kamal Haasan and S. Shankar's Indian 2 (149 crores gross) by the end of the 5th day to become the 4th biggest Tamil grosser of 2024. Mumbai, November 3 - Actor Kartik Aaryan scores his first 100 crores opener in the form of horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 after the movie showed excellent trend during the Diwali weekend despite a major clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. ## After the career-best opening of 35.50 crores net, followed by a minor jump on Saturday, BB3 holds well on Sunday to score an estimated 32-33 crores net collection with a drop of around 10%-15%. This takes the total collection to around 104+ crores net in 3 days. ## The opening weekend collection of BB3 is almost double that of its predecessor which minted approximately 56 crores in the first weekend and 92 crores in the first full week. It is also the biggest first weekend for director Anees Bazmee and the rest of the main cast. ## BB3 has shown a better trend than Singham Again and the public reception also seems to be in the favour of horror-comedy. Mumbai, November 3 - Director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again has a fantastic opening weekend at the domestic box office with around 120 crores net which is the highest ever for the director and actor Ajay Devgn. ## After an excellent first 2 days of over 40 crores each, the movie sees a drop of around 20% on Sunday for an estimated 35-36 crores net collection, taking the total to around 120 crores in 3 days. It has surpassed the opening weekend collection of Golmaal Again and Chennai Express to emerge as the biggest opener for Devgn and Shetty, respectively. ## The movie has done very well so far in collecting these numbers despite a major clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is equally doing fantastic. The drop might be a little higher but it was always going to be tough for the movie to sustain the collection on Friday or Saturday numbers due to holiday factors and the next day is a working day. ## It all boils down to Monday when the movie will need to hold well to get the benefit of a fantastic weekend and to have long legs at the box office. Mumbai, November 3: Singham Again, despite competing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, opened robustly at the box office on November 1, 2024, with an impressive India net collection of 43.70 Cr (producers figure). However, discrepancies in reported figures have led to speculation about the authenticity of these numbers, with some trade analysts citing collections between 38 Cr to 41 Cr for Hindi net. ## Our analysis reveals that the film's tracked gross collection from 13,810 shows on its opening day was 43.44 Cr. Typically, there's a 2%-5% variance between online ticket sales data and actual attendance due to last-minute bookings or ticket sales at the box office after online platforms close. This adjustment pushes the estimated online collection to between 44.30 Cr and 45.61 Cr. ## Moreover, the offline market, which includes single-screen theaters not represented in online booking systems, adds another layer to the collection tally. Historical data from blockbuster releases like "Jawan," "Gadar 2," and "Stree 2" suggest that offline collections can significantly boost total figures. For instance, "Stree 2" tracked collection was 47 Cr gross but later adjusted to nearly 65 Cr Gross due to offline sales. ## The offline market for the Hindi belt is around 20 Cr Gross. Given the Diwali release and competition, it's estimated that "Singham Again" captured about 11 Cr from the offline market, split in a 55:45 ratio with "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3." With an overall occupancy rate of 65% and considering data from over 100 single-screen theaters, we estimate "Singham Again" garnered approximately 7.50 Cr from this segment. Adding this to the online tracked gross of about 45 Cr, we arrive at a gross of approximately 52.50 Cr, translating to around 43.50 Cr India net. ## Therefore, based on our comprehensive analysis, we conclude that the collections reported by the producers of "Singham Again" are NOT manipulated. ## About This film ## This film is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Jio Studios, Rohit Shetty Productions, and Reliance Entertainment. ## Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff in key roles. ## Stay tuned.

Mumbai, November 3 - The Diwali 2024 Bollywood blockbusters, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are scripting history at the box office and on the second day in a row, both the movies have combined deliver the single-day record in Hindi. ## On November 1, both Singham 3 and BB3 combined scored 79 crores net which was the single biggest day ever in Hindi at the Indian box office. Both the movies bettered their numbers on Day 2 to score approximately 79.50 crores net combined which is a new single-day record. ## As reported earlier, before the release of the latest tentpoles, the biggest single-day collection record came on September 10 last year when Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan was released.
