Chennai, November 2 - Actor Sivakarthikeyan's biographical war action drama film Amaran has entered the 100 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 3 days and is heading towards emerging a big blockbuster for the actor. ## Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran minted approximately 68.50 crores worldwide in the first 2 days and is looking at another 35+ crores gross on Saturday to take the total collection to around 105 crores in three 3 days, which is extraordinary outcome. ## Domestically, the movie started with approximately 24.75 crores gross, followed by 22 crores gross on Friday (2nd day). On its third day, Saturday, the movie is likely to be its biggest day so far and is expected to bring 25+ crores gross for a total of 3 days of domestic cume to around 72 crores gross while the overseas collection is 33+ crores gross.## Amaran is the third movie for Sivakarthikeyan to enter the 100 crores club at the worldwide box office, after Don (114 crores) and Doctor (100+ crores). Mumbai, November 1 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 may emerge as a big box office success after the sensational second day hold domestically. The film had a really huge opening day of over 35 crores net and is looking at another similar collection or higher on day 2. ## The initial audience reports of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are mixed to positive which is good enough for a horror-comedy genre and this is already benefitting the film is showing an excellent hold despite the clash with Singham Again which itself is having a huge at the box office. ## According to early estimates, BB3 is looking to score 36-37 crores net which is pretty much in the range of the opening-day collection but depending on mass belts, the collection may go higher which will be known by tomorrow morning when numbers will come out. Mumbai, November 2 - After scoring a huge opening of approximately 43.50 crores net, director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn is having a fantastic hold on its second day/first Saturday with a minor drop in collection. ## The first day behaved like a national holiday due to Diwali and in a clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the movie had an excellent start. On Saturday, Singham Again is witnessing an expected drop as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 41-42 crores net. ## The total collection of the movie after 2 days is around 84 crores net and the first weekend is headed towards 125 crores which is excellent. The hold in the collection on day 2 is very good all around, especially in Maharashtra and Gujarat which continue to drive the biz. ## A minor drop was expected in the day 2 collection of Singham Again as some parts of the country are celebrating Diwali today but the film is looking at another big day at the box office on Sunday to script a massive opening weekend. ## The collection of Singham Again was also impacted by the clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is putting up an extraordinary show at the BO. Pictures has reportedly been developing at least one film set in this epic fantasy universe, according to The Hollywood Reporter.## The iconic television series has been widely popular among the worldwide audience and is one of the most-watched series of all time. In the past, there have been demands for films on GOT, and interestingly, the creators of the show famously wanted to conclude the series with three feature films instead of its 2019 final season. ## GOT is based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. On the other hand, the horror-comedy starring Kartik Aaryan too wasn't far behind as it minted a massive 35.50 crores net opening day, again the biggest for the actor and director Anees Bazmee. ## The combined total of 79 crores of Singham 3 and BB3 along with another 1 crore net from other movies makes November 1, 2024, the biggest day ever at the Hindi box office. Tokyo, November 1 - A piece of good news for the Kaiju fans as the new Godzilla movie has officially been greenlit. It will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who helmed last year's Oscar-winning blockbuster Godzilla Minus One. ## Legendary Japanese studio Toho, creator of Godzilla and studio home of Akira Kurosawa, revealed that the filmmaker who famously wrote, directed and oversaw all of the VFX in Godzilla Minus One, is set to reprise all of those responsibilities on the new film.## In a video message, Yamazaki can be heard saying "Hello everyone, I have wonderful news. I'll be directing the new Godzilla movie. Mumbai, November 1 - The festival of lights, Diwali brings joy to the career of actor Kartik Aaryan who has his biggest Friday at the box office in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has taken a sensational start domestically. ## Released against the mighty Singham Again, the horror-comedy had a fantastic start in the morning and was even better in some parts of the country than the Ajay Devgn-starrer. BB3 kept the momentum going throughout the day though Singham Again took the lead in the second half of the day. ## BB3 got fewer screens than Singham Again but it managed to score higher pre-sales and was all about giving tough fights and coming close to the action entertainer as far as the opening is concerned and it managed to do that to some extent as early estimates suggest the first-day collection in the range of 35 crores net which is a sensational start. ## The horror-comedy performed best in West Bengal as well as Delhi, UP, and East Punjab. As said, this is by far the biggest opening for Kartik Aaryan and his first 30+ crores net opener at the domestic box office. Mumbai, November 1 - One of the most-anticipated movies of the year, director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again lives up to the expectations and scores an excellent opening at the domestic box office by surpassing all expectations. ## Starring Ajay Devgn in the title role, Singham 3 was released in a major clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and despite that, it has emerged as the biggest opener for the actor by a long margin. According to the early estimates, the movie is expected to score 43-44 crores net on its first day. ## The movie had fantastic pre-sales and due to the Diwali holiday factor and the genre, it managed to score solid spot bookings to push the opening past 40 crores net. As said, it is the biggest opener for Ajay, surpassing Singham Returns (2014) which minted 32.10 crores net collection. ## Singham Again has performed best in its core markets, such as Maharashtra, and Gujarat along with Rajasthan where previous Singham movies did amazingly well. ## The initial word of mouth seems to be mixed which is expected for these kinds of films. Kochi, November 1 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran reunited for the sequel to their mega-blockbuster film Lucifer. The second instalment of this political action thriller was titled Lucifer 2: Empuraan (L2E) and is one of the biggest Malayalam movies in the making. ## Over the last few months, there have been speculations about the film's release date and now on November 1, the makers officially confirmed that Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial would hit the big screens on March 27, 2025, in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil languages. ## The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions and stars Mohanlal as Khureshi-Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally, reprising his role from the original. It also features an ensemble cast of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fazil, and Sachin Khedekar.## The original Lucifer was released in 2019 and emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam blockbusters of all time. Chennai, October 31 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's biographical war action drama film Amaran has taken an excellent start at the domestic box office, surpassing all the expectations to deliver the career-best opening for the actor by more than a double margin. ## Amaran was already creating sensation in the advance sales which is one of the highest of the year for a Tamil title. The fantastic pre-sales ensured the big opening but the positive audience reports led to rock-solid spot booking which provided a major boost to the overall collections. ## According to the early estimates, the movie is expected to gross 16-17 crores in Tamil Nadu which is the highest opening for the actor and third biggest of 2024. Amaran is also off to a good start in Telugu states and is estimated to gross in the range of 4.50 crores on its first day. ## In Karnataka, the movie is estimated to score in the range of 2 crore gross while in Kerala and the rest of India market, the gross collection is expected to be in the range of 1.75 crores. Overall, Amaran is estimated to gross 24-25 crores opening in India which is excellent and one of the biggest for a non-superstar. ## One more movie which hit the big screens today is Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu movie Lucky Baskhar.
