Mumbai, August 8 - After dominating the box office in 2023, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is teaming with director Sujoy Ghosh for an action thriller, tentatively titled King. The movie will be produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Sidharth Anand's Marflix.## King will feature SRK's daughter Suhana Khan in her big-screen debut alongside Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist and Munjya fame Abay Varma in prominent roles. The pre-production work on the movie is happening at a brisk pace and makers are in the final step to lock the entire cast. ## Meanwhile, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the makers have already identified shooting locations in India and internationally as they are aiming to take King on floors by November this year. Anirudh Ravichandar will score the music and BGM of the movie.## King is touted to be a one-of-its-kind action thriller which will star Shah Rukh Khan in the role of Don while Suhana Khan will play his protegee with Abhishek Bachchan as the negative force. The character details of Abay Varma are not revealed yet.## The movie will be released towards the end of 2025.##

Hyderabad, August 8 - Actor Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh reunited for the sequel to their blockbuster movie iSmart Shankar. Scheduled to be released on August 15, Double iSmart also features Sanjay Dutt in his Telugu debut and Kavya Thapar in prominent roles.## Double iSmart is an important movie for both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh and they seem to have gone all out for this mass entertainer just like the first part. It is revealed that the sequel has been censored with an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to strong violence and dialogues. ## The sequel will be lengthier than the first part with approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 42 minutes (162 minutes). iSmart Shankar clocked 2 hours and 21 minutes which made it a neatly packed entertainer. Mumbai, August 7 - The sequel to Ajay Devgn-fronted crime thriller Raid has officially been postponed from November 15 of this year due to a tight release schedule. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta who confirmed the development.## Raid 2 was well on track until recently when Ajay Devgn-fronted highly-anticipated cop action drama Singham Again was pushed to Diwali 2024, two weeks before Raid 2's original release. It then became almost impossible to release two films of the actor with a tiny gap of just 2 weeks.## Director Rajkumar Gupta confirmed to Bollywood Hungama that the blockbuster will now be released early next year but the exact date is not yet revealed. The filmmaker said that producers will announce the official release date soon.## Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn who reprises his role as an IRS officer, Amay Patnaik. In the first movie, Saurabh Shukla played the role of the antagonist but in the sequel, Riteish Deshmukh has replaced him to take on Ajay Devgn. Mumbai, August 7 - Earlier this year, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn headlined horror-thriller Shaitaan which is the remake of the Gujarati movie Vash. The movie emerged as a big box-office success which led to speculations about its sequel and now, there is a big update on the same.## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the script work for Shaitaan 2 has already begun and the makers will announce the movie once the script is locked. There is no update on when the film will go on floors and if the rest of the original cast will return.## Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan was released in March of this year and went on to gross over 200 crores at the worldwide box office. It is currently the second-highest-grossing Bollywood movie and third biggest in Hindi of 2024. ## While the official confirmation is awaited, Shaitaan marks the 8th film franchise to be headlined by Ajay Devgn, which is the most by any Indian actor. Chennai, August 7 - Vijay Sethupathi's action thriller Maharaja has emerged as the third most-watched Indian movie of 2024 on Netflix. The Nithilan Swaminathan's directorial was originally released in theatres and emerged as a big box office blockbuster by grossing over 100 crores worldwide.## Maharaja debuted on Netflix on July 12, four weeks after the blockbuster theatrical release. It scored 3.20 million views in the opening weekend on Netflix, followed by a huge 6.10 million views in the second week (July 15-21), and another 3.60 million views during the week of July 22-28. ## In the fourth week (July 29 - August 4), the movie generated 2.60 million views, pushing its total viewership to 15.50 million views in 24 days. Mumbai, August 6 - Amid the reports about the casting for the highly-anticipated Border 2, the makers have provided that the announcement of the full cast of the film is not far away. Over the last year, the sequel has been making rounds before makers broke the shackles by officially announcing it in June this year.## The movie was announced with Sunny Deol returning to reprise his role from the first movie, released in 1997.
