Box Office: Oppenheimer Becomes The 5th Biggest Movie of All-Time On IMAX
Los Angeles, August 21 - Christopher Nolan's atom bomb movie "Oppenheimer" has become the 4th highest-grossing film of the director, surpassing "Interstellar" ($715 million) at the worldwide box office. The latest R-rated historical drama has generated $718 million globally through the fifth weekend. ## Meanwhile, "Oppenheimer" is now the fifth highest-grossing movie in the IMAX format of all time. The Cillian Murphy-led movie has generated $146.4 million worldwide, including $80.8 million domestically (North America) and $146.4 million overseas after the 5th weekend.## "Oppenheimer" surpassed the final IMAX gross collection of Marvel Studios' "Avengers Infinity War" which made $143 million in this premium format.
