BY SACNILK
Mumbai, July 21 - Yash Raj Films' romantic drama Saiyaara, featuring debutants Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, has taken the box office by storm with a record-breaking opening weekend. The Mohit Suri directorial has grossed a staggering 115 crores worldwide in just three days, including an excellent 99.75 crores from India alone. ## This phenomenal start makes Saiyaara the biggest-ever worldwide opening for a film led by newcomers, and also for a Bollywood romantic drama film, beating Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh (93+ crores worldwide). In India, the movie benefited from strong word-of-mouth, youthful appeal, and a robust turnout across multiplex and smaller centres. It also did well internationally, grossing around 15 crores in the opening weekend. ## The chemistry between the lead pair, a soulful soundtrack, and Mohit Suri's trademark emotional storytelling appears to have struck a chord with audiences, particularly the younger demographic. With positive audience reception and minimal competition at the box office, Saiyaara is poised for a strong run in the coming weeks. All eyes are now on how far this debut-driven romantic drama can go. Can it hit the 300 crore mark in the long run? The coming days will tell. ## About Saiyaara ## The film stars Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, a rising musician whose raw talent and ambition set him on a collision course with the realities of the modern music industry. When Krish is introduced to Vaani (Aneet Padda), a gifted and principled songwriter, sparks fly – both creatively and personally. As their partnership deepens, so does their connection, blossoming into a romance that is as passionate as it is complicated. ## Stay tuned...
