Both movies have grossed over 1000 crores worldwide and are the only Indian films of the year to do so. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has grossed approximately 1060 crores globally, including 867 crores gross in India, in its extended 8-day first weekend, surpassing the lifetime total of Kalki which minted approximately 1042 crores gross, including 767 crores gross domestically.
