Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend. ## As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold. ## Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. On its second Sunday, the gross collection of the movie is expected to be 4.25+ crores in the North India region while the Hindi-language collection is estimated to be 3.75-4 crores net. ## Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 14-15 crores (12-13 crore net) on its second Sunday (10th day), per estimates. Hyderabad, October 5 - After the very good first-week collection, superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara - Part 1 entered the second with a decent hold on Friday, especially in Telugu states along with Hindi belt and Karnataka. ## On its second Saturday, Devara is showing a good jump of around 40% in terms of all India collections. Chennai, September 5 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time was released on this day last year, in 2024. Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, the GOAT finished its box office run as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time. The GOAT was released on September 5, on Thursday and scored the second biggest opening ever for a Tamil title at the worldwide box office with 100 crores gross collection. It is also the third-biggest opening for an Indian title of 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD and Devara. The movie received a mixed reception from critics and audiences, and despite that, Thalapathy Vijay pulled off a fantastic first weekend with approximately 281 crores gross worldwide. It was, however, a different story when it came to the different parts of the country as far as the box office was concerned. The GOAT, after the not-so-encouraging reception, didn't get the desired result in Telugu states and Kerala, where Vijay's popularity was soaring. The actor's last film, Leo, did wonders in AP/TG and Kerala with over 100 crores gross, but this time, things weren't the same as The GOAT minted only 27 crores gross approx. in those states. It has been a standout performer among all the re-release titles at the Indian box office and has emerged as the biggest repeat gross ever. ## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve and produced by Sohum Shah, Tumbbad has completed 3 weeks (21 days) of its repeat run and has scored approximately 29 crores net collection (34.25 crores gross). Mumbai, October 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is heading towards emerging as a big success at the box office and has crossed 300 crores gross collection worldwide, becoming the second movie of the actor to do so after RRR. ## Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 has grossed approximately 286 crores at the worldwide box office through the first Tuesday (5 days). The biz has exploded domestically today, on the first Wednesday due to the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday, crossing 300 crores gross as I type this. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to breach the milestone of 300 crores gross after SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR, co-starring Ram Charan. As said, the latest blockbuster is the first solo film of Jr. NTR to gross 300 crores globally, emerging as a big success. ## It is the second Telugu movie after Kalki 2898 AD, and 5th Indian title of 2024 to enter the 300 crores gross club at the global box office. Kalki remains the only film of the year (so far) to hit the 1000 crores milestone worldwide.## The worldwide popularity Jr. NTR gained after RRR is hugely benefitting him with Devara, which, otherwise received a mixed reception.
