Hyderabad, April 15 - After 3 weeks of the historic start by SS Rajamouli's "RRR", the Indian box office exploded again, thanks to the long-awaited and highly anticipated Pan-India biggie, "KGF: Chapter 2". The Yash-fronted action drama film has broken several records at the domestic box office, even though it couldn't go past "RRR" and "Baahubali 2". ## The Prashanth Neel-directed was released on over 10000 screens worldwide, including approx. 7000 screens in India. The craze for this particular movie is such that theater owners are arranging midnight shows to meet the demand with supply and still people are finding it tough to get tickets, especially in the North belts, where the craze for this is sky-high. ## "KGF: Chapter 2" was anticipated to break "RRR's" opening day record at the domestic box office, however, it fell short to reach there as SS Rajamouli's period action drama is still playing in theaters on a significant number of screens all over India. Had "RRR" not playing in theaters currently, "KGF 2" would have easily become the biggest opener in India, beating both "RRR" and "Baahubali 2". Hindi was the biggest contributor to the Neel-directed, followed by Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.## There was a debate over the film's opening day collection in Hindi as many predicted that it would open with 25 crores, while some said it might reach 30 crores but not more.
