Amid the reports of creative differences, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has reportedly sacked the nation's heartthrob, Kartik Aaryan from the sequel of Dostana stating the actor's "unprofessional behavior". It has also been said that Dharma Productions or any other film business of Karan Johar has vowed never to work with Kartik again.## Earlier, there were reports that Kartik Aaryan is no longer part of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham starrer Dostana sequel as he wanted some changes in the script to which Johar didn't agree upon. Along with the creative differences, it has also been reported that Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik have had a fallout and he was not ready to share screen space with the actress which led to a rift between Karan and Kartik. ## However, as per the reports, Karan Johar was annoyed with Kartik's tantrums. The production house was also not happy with Kartik continuing to delay the shoot sitting date issues which make things further complicated and eventually led both Karan and Kartik to part ways despite the 20 days of shoot for Dostana 2 had already done. ## "It's strange for an outsider like Kartik to give such attitude to a nepo kid like Janhvi and a producer like Dharma. This, after shooting for 20 days. It will cost us crores and also put on hold the career of Lakshya who was making his debut. Janhvi is a star and will go on to do other big films", a source quoted in an entertainment portal said. ## For those who do not know, Dostana 2 is the sequel to the 2008 comedy Dostana and will be directed by Collin D'Cunha and whereas Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions will be producing the film. Hyderabad, May 20, 2021: Last year, on Jr. NTR's birthday, K.G.F. director Prashanth Neel hinted about his collaboration with the actor for #NTR31, however, due to the covid-19 pandemic and the duo's respective projects, further proceedings on the highly anticipated association couldn't take place. But recently, Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers disclosed a special update on #NTR31. ## The producer duo had confirmed NTR's film with Neel and also confirmed that it will go on floors after Prabhas starrer, "Salaar" which is being directed by Neel. The movie is said to be made on a budget of around 150 crores. It will be NTR's second Pan India release after Rajamouli's "RRR", which is scheduled to release on October 13 this year. #NTR30 will release worldwide on April 29, 2022. ## On the other hand, Prashanth Neel is waiting for the release of KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn has announced his next production and joins hands with the producer, Siddharth Roy Kapur for a comedy-drama film, titled "Gobar". The movie will be directed by the well-known ad filmmaker Sabal Shekhawat, who debuted with the acclaimed 2013 indie "Fireflies".## The movie is inspired by the true events set during the 1990s in North India. It follows the story of an animal-loving veterinary doctor who witnesses corrupt practices in a local state hospital and decides to stand up against it.## "The story of 'Gobar!' is at once unique, relatable, and incredibly funny, as well as gripping and entertaining to the point that I'm confident it will compel people to go to the theaters. We are very clear about the impact we want to make. We want viewers to laugh, relax, perhaps think a little bit, and be entertained", Ajay Devgn said according to Variety. ## Siddharth Roy Kapur further said, "Gobar is a story that chronicles the seemingly pointless but ultimately heroic journey of a simple citizen who deals with corruption in a way that will bring on many laughs, much adventure, and ultimately a simple message about the power of the common man. What makes the film entertaining and unique is that it is a situational comedy that sheds light on the inner workings of power".## Casting for the film is currently underway and it is expected to go on floors towards the end of the year. All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been promoted to Grade A (INR 5 Cr) from Grade B (INR 3 Cr) in the annual contract list released by BCCI on Thursday (April 15) for the time period of October 2020-September 2021. Among the top gainers, Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj, who played a vital role in the series win down under, have been a Grade C (INR 1 Cr) contract along with Axar Patel, who was handed his Test cap during the recently concluded series against England. ## Shardul Thakur, who made an impact in India's incredible tour Down Under, has also seen a jump and promoted to Grade B from C while Bhuvneshwar Kumar's lengthy injury and India's growing list of fast bowlers has seen him demoted to Grade B from A. The leg-spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have also slipped down the contract pecking order, both getting Grade C from B. WWE champion and Hollywood star, John Cena is the latest addition to the ninth main installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. The 43-year-old star will be seen playing the character of Jacob Toretto, brother of Dominic Toretto played by Vin Diesel. ## Cena will be seen performing high octane action scenes in the Justin Lin directorial which is the sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017). He admits being aware he is getting the opportunity to be a part of a legacy body of work and adds that the franchise is not senseless action.## "I love the perspective of F9, of Dom (Dominic Toretto) having to face Jacob, his blood family. Someone that has been forgotten and long lost. I have to be equal to Dom or greater than Dom to be challenging, to let the viewer get to the edge of their seat and get knocked back in their chair." "But what I love about the franchise is that it is not senseless action for the sake of action. It will deliver", Cena told select media globally, during the trailer launch on Wednesday. ## Speaking about the upcoming installment, Cena said, "Now we get to dive into the concept of, yes, we can choose who we love and we can choose who we are close to, and call them family, even if they don't share our last name. After the producer, Aascar Ravichandran, of the Tamil movie "Anniyan" asked director Shankar to stop proceedings further for the Hindi remake with actor Ranveer Singh, as he claimed that he has the story rights, Shankar has now hit back at Ravichandran saying that he is shocked to receive his email over "Anniyan" story rights issue. ## In his letter to V Ravichandran, director Shankar said that everyone associated with the movie was aware that the script and storyline belong exclusively to him and he has not assigned in writing any script or screenplay to any person, and he continues to retain the right to exploit the script in any manner he deems fit. ## The director further said that he is surprised that V Ravichandran referred to late Sujatha, as Shankar claimed, Sujatha was only engaged by him to write the dialogue for which he credited in the movie. ## Read his full statement -## Director #Shankar hits back at producer #AascarRavichandran on the issue of who has the “story rights” over #Anniyan, which is now being remade in Hindi 👇 pic.twitter.com/zJSs5QqDze— Sreedhar Pillai (@sri50) April 15, 2021 ## Earlier, V Ravichandran had said in a statement referred to Shankar that the director should immediately stop preceding any further on the Hindi remake of "Anniyan", due to the illegal copying of the story for which the entire rights are held by him. The actor said that he admires Shankar so much and he is feeling blessed to have this opportunity to be a part of the spectacular cinematic vision of Shankar sir for the Anniyan Hindi remake.
