Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan says he did not just want to come and shoot in India, but bring out the true essence by having an Indian character, and that is the reason Dimple Kapadia became an important part of his recently released, Tenet.## "I've always been struck with the spy genre, one of the things that is really fun about the genre is as an audience member, you get to travel the world, be it places you would never normally go and see things you would never normally see," Nolan told IANS while breaking down the reason behind the diverse cast of his latest film.## "One of the ways in which you make that meaningful and real is to have a very international cast, and have people who are from all over the world, or actors playing different nationalities", he added.## He continued, "For example, I didn't want to come to India and just use American actors and use Mumbai as a backdrop. I wanted to have an Indian character. So Dimple Kapadia in the character of Priya became a very important part of the film".## "Taking the audience on a journey, and giving them the feeling of having people (from) all around the world, it's fun. But it also adds to the stakes of the story because we are making a story that ultimately is about a threat. So the more of the world you get to experience, the more you get to engage within the film", he shared.## Tenet is a spy thriller that takes one on a thrilling time-bending mission with two secret agents, essayed by Robert Pattinson and John David Washington. In the film, Dimple is seen as Priya, who is crucial to the narrative. Her character emerges as a deadly person, with various shades of grey.## The Warner Bros. Tonight's WWE NXT "Takeover: WarGames 2020" event saw The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish) defeat The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch).## The final wrap of the show, saw O'Reilly pin Lorcan after performing a top rope knee to a chair that was laying over Lorcan's face.## This was a highly combustible situation between these eight men. Johnny Gargano is now a 3x North American Champion as he defeats Damian Priest and Leon Ruff (c) to regain the North American Title.## On October 28 at NXT: Halloween Havoc, Gargano defeated Damian Priest to become the first-ever two-time NXT North American Champion. He would then lose the title to Leon Ruff on the November 11 episode of NXT.## The victory came right after Another Ghostface guy takes out Priest with a pipe. Saif Ali Khan, who is set to portray the character of 'Lankesh' in Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush, has landed in troubled water after his controversial statement of "justifying the abduction of Sita by Raavan" in a recent interview. ## In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif had opened up on playing Raavan in Prabhas starrer Adhipurush and said, "It's interesting to play a demon king, less strictures in that. But we will make him humane, up the entertainment quotient, justify his abduction of Sita and the war with Ram as revenge for what was done to his sister Surpanakha by Lakshman, who cut off her nose".## His statement hurt the sentiments of a section of citizens and they demanded Saif's omission from the movie which will release in 2022. Mumbai BJP leader Ram Kadam criticized the actor for the same and had tweeted, "Actor #SaifAliKhan makes an extremely shocking statement regarding his forthcoming film Adipurush. Saif who plays Ravan's character says Ravan's abduction of Sita Maa will be justified in the film. Ravan's humane side will be shown and his war against Sri Ram will be justified". ## "Director @OmRaut director, you made #Tanhaji which was well received worldwide bcz it does justice to Hindu pride and Marathi asmita. But if #Adhipurush plans to show Ravan in positive light and justify the inhuman act of abduction of Sita Maa, we will never allow that to happen. Hope better sense prevails #JaiShriRam", he added. ## After found himself on the wrong side, Saif has now clarified and withdrawn his statement and has apologized for hurting the sentiments. He said that he never intended to hurt anyone as he himself idolize Lord Ram. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's film Panipat, starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Sanjay Dutt was released one year ago on this day (December 6). The movie depicts the events that took place during the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761 between the Maratha Empire and the invading Afghan army of Ahmad Shah Abdali played by Sanjay Dutt.## Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Parvati Bai, wife of Sadashiv Rao Bhau played by Arjun Kapoor in the movie, gets nostalgic remembering her role and the action sequence filmed on her in the movie. Kriti posted two videos from the film on Instagram. She shared the stills from her fight sequence in the movie.## For the caption, she chose her dialogue from the film. She wrote, "All I could think of while doing this sequence was: Duvidha ke aage, Jab naari jaage, Himmat se kaam le. Choodi utaare, Kangan utaare, Talvaar thaam le!"## She further added, "P.S. Popular Punjabi and Bollywood Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has been very vocal about the ongoing farmers' protest against the new three farm laws passed by the central government. The Good Newwz actor also joined the protest against farm laws at the Delhi border and show his support for the farmers. ## Addressing the farmers at the Singhu border, he said, "Hats off to all of you farmers, you have created a new history. This history would be narrated to future generations. Farmers' issues shouldn't be diverted by anyone". ## Now, apart from standing head to head with protesting farmers, the singer-actor has lent financial support to farmers and has donated Rs. 1 crore to buy warm clothes for the protesters. Impact Wrestling can officially confirm that new AEW World Champion Kenny Omegama will appear on IMPACT THIS TUESDAY at 8/7c.## Last week, Kenny Omega became the new AEW Champion as he defeated Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming episode. This will mark Omega's debut for the company and his first appearance on any show since winning the title from Jon Moxley on this Wednesday's "Winter Is Coming" edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT.## According to Wrestling Inc., the relationship between Impact and AEW is not currently scheduled to be that intertwined. From what we have heard, Omega's appearance on Impact will be a one-off and was largely done as a favor from Omega for Don Callis, who is a good friend of Omega's. Omega also requested that Don work as the commentator for his big title win over Moxley.## Tony Khan apparently liked the idea and signed off on it. Beyond Omega making a one-off appearance on Impact, it was also relayed to us that The Good Brothers will likely be coming to AEW for one match as well.
