Marvel's 'Avengers: Doomsday' Cast Live Stream Breaks Viewership Record

Los Angeles, March 28 - Marvel Studios' decision to live stream the cast announcement of its next Avengers movies Avengers: Doomsday has been a huge blockbuster with the record viewership. The studio announced the cast on Wednesday during a nearly five-and-a-half-hour live stream. ## The cast announcement drew the biggest live stream viewership of Marvel Studios ever, with 275 million digital views and 3.1 million social mentions, according to Deadline. Marvel also confirmed the viewership data on its X account and thanked Marvel fans for the massive response. ## Deadline also reported that the number is more than five times the social volume of Deadpool and Wolverine's Super Bowl trailer from last year. Deadpool & Wolverine is currently the most viewed trailer of all time.## The event yielded over 55 distinct trending terms on X throughout the day, with #AvengersDoomsday holding the #1 trending spot on the platform for over 7 hours. After 24 hours, the official Marvel YouTube livestream was at #2 on trending.## During its live stream, Marvel announced 26 new actors who will feature in Doomsday and also teased more actors who will be announced on a later date.
