Hyderabad, July 24 - There is so much genuine curiosity about maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli's next film which is with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Touted to be a jungle-based adventure movie, SSMB 29 will be Rajamouli's first film since the monstrous blockbuster RRR in 2022. ## Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma seems to be one of the people who is excited about Rajamouli's next and he has some bold things to say about it. During a recent interview with a Telugu media platform, RGV claimed that SSMB29 will be the biggest film ever and he put reasons to say that.## "My guess is the film he (Rajamouli) is going to do now, I think that is going to go beyond imagination for the simple reason that post RRR release, I think he has spent a lot of time with the technician for the visual effects, so I have a feeling that this (SSMB29) is going to be really a "baap of all the films" made", RGV said.## As per reports, some of the award-winning international technicians will work on SSMB29 which is currently in the pre-production stage. Mumbai, July 24 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's all-time blockbuster movie Indra is all set to be re-released in theatres on the occasion of the veteran superstar's 69th birthday. The movie was directed by B. Gopal and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.## Released in July 2002, Indra was a box office sensation and went on to gross over 50 crores at the worldwide box office. Mumbai, July 24 - Director Siddharth Anand has earned the tag of one of the best commercial filmmakers after having delivered a couple of huge box office blockbusters over the last few years. Hyderabad, July 23 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda has teamed up with Jersey director Gautam Tinnanuri for his next film, tentatively called VD12. The actor will be seen playing the role of a police officer in the movie and a rugged look of his recently leaked online. ## The leaked photos of VD 12 have sparked excitement among the fans. Chennai, July 24 - Amid the speculations of which film, between Prabhas-fronted Salaar 2 and Jr. NTR-starrer Dragon (NTR 31) director Prashanth Neel will start next, a new report has emerged that the blockbuster filmmaker is already in talks with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar for not one but two movies. ## Earlier this year, it was reported that Neel would be collaborating with Ajith Kumar for a standalone movie, and now, according to the report by DT Next, the duo may also do one more film in Prashanth Cinematic Universe which could pave the way for Yash-fronted KGF: Chapter 3.## "Ajith and Prashanth had a meeting during the Vidaa Muyarchi schedule break last month. Prashanth has asked over three years of Ajith's time. Their first collaboration, which could be AK 64, will be a standalone project. This will go on floors in 2025 and be released in 2026", says the report.## The report further said that Hombale Films will bankroll both projects and the climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3 and Ajith Kumar's character is touted to be the biggest of them in Prashanth Cinematic Universe. ## It is, however, to be noted that neither Prashanth Neel nor Hombale Films have confirmed the existence of the Prashanth Cinematic Universe. However, there have been many reports and speculations along with fan theories which suggest there might be this KGF universe where its characters might collide at some point. Mumbai, July 23 - From its lowest opening ever in The Marvels ($110 million worldwide) in November last year to potentially one of the biggest in the MUC history in the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine, Marvel Studios/Disney is about to change the fate within just 9 months.## Recently, the domestic (North America) box office projection for the third Deadpool movie was revealed at $160+ million, by far the biggest opening for an R-rated (equal to A rating in India) movie ever and now, there is more for the studios to keep their expectations high. ## According to Deadline, the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-fronted blockbuster are looking at $340 million - $360 million opening at the global box office, including $180 million - $190 million overseas start which would be the biggest for an R-rated. ## These projections seem to be conservative as a previous report by Deadline (quoting a tracking agency) projected a $200+ million domestic start before most of the tracking sites brought that projection down to $160+ million. Overseas, the movie can still open at $200+ million as reports suggest the pre-sales are exceptional everywhere, so a $400+ million worldwide start is very much a possibility. ## If the aforementioned projection holds, it would be the third biggest MCU opening post the COVID-19 pandemic after Spider-Man: No Way Home ($600 million) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($452 million). Mumbai, July 23 - IMDb has unveiled the top 10 most anticipated upcoming Indian movies of 2024, and not so surprisingly, superstar Allu Arjun-fronted Pan India action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule takes the first spot. ## Directed by Sukumar, the sequel to the 2021 movie Pushpa - The Rise, Pushpa 2 has been the talk of the town ever since the first part was released. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the blockbuster movie is scheduled to be released on December 6 in multiple languages.## The second most anticipated Indian movie of the year is superstar Jr. NTR's action drama, Devara: Part 1 which is again a Pan India title. It is directed by Koratala Siva and also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their Telugu debut. The movie is slated to hit the big screen on September 28. ## Akshay Kumar-fronted comedy entertainer, Welcome To The Jungle (Welcome 3) is the third most anticipated movie of 2024. The multi-starrer tentpole is currently scheduled to be released during the Christmas weekend, however, it is likely to be postponed to next year. ## Thalapathy Vijay's sci-fi action thriller, The Greatest of All-Time (GOAT) is the 4th most-anticipated Indian title of the year. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is the second last movie of Vijay before he enters politics. It is scheduled to be released on September 5. Another hugely-awaited Pan India movie, Suriya's Kanguva takes the 5th spot in the list. Directed by Siva, the film is slated to debut on the big screen on October 10. It also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debuts. ## Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, two of the potential highest Bollywood grossers of the year, is the 6th and 7th most-anticipated titles, respectively. Both movies will clash at the box office on Diwali this year. ## Actor Vikram's Tamil action-drama Thangalaan, directed by Pa. Ranjith is 8th on the list of the most-anticipated Indian title of 2024. It is scheduled to be released on August 15. Mumbai, July 23 - Produced Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in the top form after the box office success of its horror-comedy Munjya. The studio's next release is Shraddha Kapoor-fronted Stree 2, which is the 5th instalment in Maddock Supernatural Universe. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, in prominent roles.## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic recently became the 7th Indian movie of all time and the first of 2024 to cross 1000 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office.
