Singles Match: Will Ospreay vs. Katsuyori Shibata ##

The action is intense as Will Ospreay and Katsuhiko Shibata trade strikes and holds. Shibata attempts an armbar, but Ospreay reaches the ropes to escape. They grapple, with Ospreay taking Shibata down with a headlock. Shibata escapes and applies a wristlock, but Ospreay counters with an Ankle Pick. The fight continues on the mat with both men exchanging submission attempts. ##
Ospreay gains the upper hand, driving Shibata into the ropes with chops. Enraged, Shibata pummels Ospreay in the corner, but Ospreay retaliates with a dropkick. The fight spills outside the ring, with Ospreay launching himself over the top rope with a plancha onto Shibata. Shibata responds with a powerful suplex on the ramp before they return to the ring.##
The battle continues inside the squared circle, with Shibata controlling the fight with stiff kicks. Ospreay fights back to his feet, and they trade elbows. After a commercial break, Ospreay executes a springboard enzuigiri. The fight moves outside again, with Shibata dodging a plancha and sending Ospreay crashing into the barricade. Shibata follows up with a powerful boot.##
Ospreay displays his resilience, bringing Shibata back into the ring. They trade elbows once more, and Shibata floors Ospreay before pummeling him in the corner. Ospreay recovers with a big boot, but Shibata responds with a Shotgun Dropkick and a front necklock suplex.##
Ospreay escapes an Octopus Hold and they exchange stretches. Shibata attempts another Octopus Hold, but Ospreay counters. Shibata delivers a powerful German Suplex and counters a springboard enzuigiri with an Ankle Pick, transitioning into an STF submission. Ospreay reaches the ropes for a reprieve.##
Despite Shibata's dominance, Ospreay fights back. Shibata drops him with a face kick, but Ospreay dodges a Penalty Kick. Ospreay takes control momentarily with a series of elbows, but Shibata staggers him. Both men are exhausted and collapse.##
Ospreay attempts a Hidden Blade, but Shibata dodges and applies a sleeper hold, followed by a Sleeper Suplex. Ospreay appears close to defeat, but he musters his strength and sends Shibata to the apron. Shibata gets caught on the ropes, allowing Ospreay to connect with a dropkick.##
Ospreay rallies with a signature Oscutter, but Shibata kicks out at the one-count. They trade kicks once more before Ospreay launches into a sequence of moves, including a Backdrop Suplex, a sliding uppercut, a Tiger Driver '91, and finally the match-winning Hidden Blade. ##

Following the grueling match, both competitors display respect by bowing to each other in a sign of sportsmanship. A video tribute highlighting Bryan Danielson's technical prowess as "The Greatest Technician" airs. ##
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks. The duo claims to have delivered on all their promises made upon their return. They celebrate Kazuchika Okada's victory, emphasizing that he secured the title through his own skill. The Young Bucks also declare their confidence in defeating Private Party without any outside assistance. They conclude the interview by urging Renee to smile more, expressing their dissatisfaction with her demeanor compared to former interviewer Alex Marvez.##
After a commercial break, Kazuchika Okada arrives in style, driving a Ferrari and proudly displaying his newly acquired Continental Championship. ##
AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match: The Young Bucks vs. Private Party ##

Matt Jackson and Isaiah Kassidy start the match with a tense face-off. Matt gains control early on, tagging in Nick who continues the offensive pressure. Marq Quen enters the ring for Private Party, and the team executes a synchronized Sunset Flip maneuver on the Bucks. They follow up with stereo Superkicks, sending the Young Bucks outside the ring. Private Party dives over the top rope with tope suicidas to take down both Bucks. ##
Kassidy lands a Silly String DDT on Matt Jackson inside the ring. Meanwhile, Nick Jackson and Quen battle on the barricade. Nick counters with a spectacular Falcon Arrow from the barricade onto the floor. ##
The Bucks attempt to eliminate Quen by countout after regaining control in the ring. However, Private Party manages to return before the ten-count. The Bucks continue their assault on Quen, but he displays resilience and fights back. The Young Bucks connect with a Suplex/Backbreaker combination before the match goes to commercial. ##
Following the commercial break, the Bucks maintain control, punishing Quen. He manages to tag in Kassidy, who lands strikes on Matt Jackson. Kassidy executes a daring Asai Moonsault on Nick Jackson outside the ring. Back inside, he connects with a springboard crossbody on Matt for a near-fall.##
Matt counters a Twist of Fate and regains control. Nick tags in, and the Bucks combine for a Powerbomb/Sliced Bread combo. However, Quen breaks up the pinfall attempt. The fight spills outside the ring, with everyone exhausted. Quen tags in and battles both Bucks, but they overpower him. Nick delivers a German Suplex. Private Party rallies with their signature Gin N' Juice maneuver on Nick. Kassidy follows with a More Bang For Your Buck on Matt, but Nick breaks up the pinfall just in time. ##
Chaos erupts at ringside as Nick attempts to use a foreign object on the referee. Rick Knox, another official, intervenes to prevent the disqualification. In the ensuing confusion, Matt Jackson delivers a low blow to Kassidy. Quen retaliates by hitting Matt with a title belt. Nick goes for the pinfall on Matt but places his foot on the rope for leverage. The Young Bucks with their finishing move, the EVP Trigger, on Kassidy to secure a controversial victory. ##

Following the Young Bucks' victory, cameras cut backstage to Kazuchika Okada, the reigning Continental Champion, watching the action with a look of approval. ##
A video package highlighting Konosuke Takeshita's career plays, building anticipation for his upcoming main event clash against Swerve Strickland. ##
Darby Allin and Tony Hawk tell people about The Skate Park Project, the charity Darby was raising money for with his now-canceled Everest climb. Tony then does some sick skateboarding tricks, including a handplant on Darby's broken foot.) ##
Backstage, Chris Jericho offers words of encouragement to Hook. Jericho expresses that Hook is more impressive than he anticipated and acknowledges his unique skillset. He extends an open invitation for guidance, but Hook simply states his awareness of Jericho's legacy. Jericho, in turn, highlights Hook's potential. The exchange concludes with a fist bump, met with mixed reactions from the crowd.##
Mercedes Mone makes her official entrance to the ring and joins the commentary team. ##

Blue trips Statlander, who collides with Willow running at Blue. The action continues after the commercial break, with all four women exchanging blows. Willow retreats outside the ring momentarily. ##
Statlander takes control, dominating both Skye Blue and Anna Jay. She nearly secures a pinfall on Skye Blue with a Michinoku Driver. Statlander attempts a high-risk maneuver from the top rope, but Jay recovers and delivers a critical elbow strike. Jay follows up with a Superplex for another near-fall.##

Statlander and Nightingale lock eyes in a moment of intensity. The chaos continues as Skye Blue attacks both women. Nightingale inadvertently takes out Statlander in the confusion. Seizing the opportunity, Skye Blue focuses her attack on Willow. Willow fights back but is ultimately taken down with a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron. Back in the ring, Anna Jay rolls up Statlander for a near-fall. Statlander is sent outside the ring. Nightingale capitalizes by hitting Anna Jay with her devastating Gutwrench Powerbomb to secure the victory. ##

Following Nightingale's victory, Julia Hart attacks her in the ring. She poses with the championship belt before turning her attention to Mercedes Mone with a defiant stare. ##
Backstage, Dustin Rhodes acknowledges the talent on the AEW roster and expresses satisfaction with the quality of his recent matches, calling them all "bangers." The Butcher interrupts his interview, demanding a match against Rhodes. Rhodes throws a playful jab at Butcher's mustache, but the match is confirmed for Friday night's episode of "AEW Rampage." ##

The match starts with Trent facing off against Mike Bennett. Orange Cassidy throws a wrench into the early strategy by punching Matt Taven outside the ring, sparking a brawl. The action spills outside the ring with dives from Trent and Orange Cassidy taking down both Undisputed Kingdom members.##
Back in the ring, Trent battles back against the dominance of Taven and Bennett with a series of German Suplexes. He fights off a two-on-one attack but gets distracted by an argument with the outside official, Rick Knox. The Undisputed Kingdom capitalize and take control heading into a commercial break. ##
After the break, The Undisputed Kingdom nearly pin Trent. Orange Cassidy tags in but struggles to gain momentum. Bennett connects with a Proton Pack for a near fall, but Trent disrupts their attempt at a double-team maneuver. Best Friends respond with their signature Strong Zero combination, nearly securing the win. ##
Trent continues the offensive with a series of knee strikes to Taven. Roderick Strong, an outside associate of The Undisputed Kingdom, distracts Trent, but Orange Cassidy takes him out. The chaos allows Mike Bennett back in the ring, but Chuck Taylor, another member of Best Friends stationed outside, prevents a Spike Piledriver. Trent with a roll-up pinfall on Bennett to secure the victory for Best Friends and advance them in the tournament. ##

Main Event: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Swerve Strickland ##

Konosuke Takeshita starts strong, taking Swerve Strickland to the mat and controlling the early portion of the match with his grappling skills. Swerve uses his agility to counter, slipping out of holds and attempting rollups. Takeshita cuts him off with a leaping lariat to take back control.##
Backstage, Samoa Joe keeps a close eye on the action. ##
Takeshita focuses on grounding Swerve, choking him in the corner. Swerve fights back with a series of uppercuts, culminating in a mid-rope diving uppercut that stuns Takeshita. He starts to dominate but Takeshita weathers the storm and launches a counteroffensive. Swerve responds with a powerful backbreaker. They trade suplexes. Takeshita lands a heavy elbow strike that sends Swerve reeling outside the ring just before a commercial break. ##
Swerve recovers during the break and returns to the ring only to be met with a big boot from Takeshita. Takeshita maintains control with a submission hold, but Swerve powers out. He sends Takeshita outside and hits a spectacular hurricanrana. Back inside, Swerve dives off the top rope with a crossbody for a nearfall. ##
They trade blows again, with Takeshita dropping Swerve with a strong elbow. He follows up with a Death Valley Driver and a running knee, but Swerve escapes to the ring apron before Takeshita can capitalize. Takeshita dives over the top rope with a Tope to take out Swerve on the outside.##
Back in the ring, Takeshita attempts a Super Brainbuster from the top rope, but Swerve fights him off. Swerve counters with a devastating DDT from the top turnbuckle. He climbs up again and connects with his signature Sky Twister for another nearfall.##
Takeshita refuses to give up, battling back with a Blue Thunder Bomb that nearly puts Swerve away. The fight continues as they exchange strikes. Swerve lands a Complete Shot for another nearfall. He attempts a Swerve Stomp from the top rope, but Takeshita rolls away to the apron. Swerve manages to connect with the Swerve Stomp on the apron.##
Takeshita hits back with a powerful throw from the inside the ring after countering a Brainbuster attempt. He lands a big knee strike that almost secures the win, but Swerve kicks out. Takeshita goes for another move from the top rope, but Swerve counters, sending Takeshita crashing to the mat.##
The resilience of both wrestlers continues to shine as they counter each other's moves. Swerve hits a House Call and his signature Swerve Stomp for yet another nearfall. He headbutts Takeshita, but Takeshita responds with a knee. Swerve gets the upper hand with a pop-up Swerve Stomp and finishes the match with his JML Driver for the pinfall victory. ##
