This year's 40th anniversary event promises to be no different, with rumors swirling about the potential involvement of three legendary figures: Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and John Cena. ## According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there's a strong belief within WWE that these icons will all have a role to play at WrestleMania 40, taking place in Philadelphia on April 6th and 7th. However, the exact nature of their participation remains shrouded in mystery. ## "Nothing is official," Meltzer reports, "but the belief right now is that Steve Austin, Undertaker and John Cena will have something at WrestleMania in some form. I went off script because I couldn't remember it, not because I wanted to. And that happened a number of times with me. At the end of the day, it's the most popular, it's whoever's gonna draw the most money, whether it's a good guy or a bad guy, it's all storyline-oriented and it's all fictitious and it's all in the direction they want to lead you.## But some guys can do it and some guys can't. I can't really put a finger on it, but I would go out there and wrestle like there was no one there. I'd go out and do my job and I'd try to do it to the best of my ability. Former WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg isn't shy about his frustrations with the company. In a recent interview with Nothing Left Unsaid, Goldberg took aim at WWE for what he perceives as disrespect towards his legacy. ## The most glaring issue for Goldberg seems to be Asuka's undefeated streak in NXT surpassing his own WCW record. Goldberg referred to Asuka dismissively as "some Japanese girl" and questioned the timing of her streak ending just as he returned to WWE in 2016. ## “A girl beat my winning streak… beat my undefeated streak. Yeah, I can’t even remember… ‘A-soo-ka’ is her name. Some Japanese girl. And they touted her as being the one to have the longest winning streak." ## Goldberg went further, implying WWE management, specifically Triple H (Paul Levesque), played a role in both Asuka's streak and the increased use of the Spear finisher by other wrestlers. Goldberg has a history of tension with Triple H, and blames their past for these perceived slights. ## "The fact that I didn’t get along with Paul Levesque (Triple H), which is Vince’s son-in-law, I think had everything to do with it." # Whether intentional or not, Goldberg's comments are sure to stir the pot. Mumbai, March 22 - Dharma Productions' action thriller Yodha couldn't put up much of a fight at the box office with a low first-week collection. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna in the leading roles. ## Directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha minted approximately 25 crores net in the first week, making it the first lowest opening week total for a Sidharth Malhotra-starrer as well as one of the lowest for Disha and Raashii. ## The movie's opening was underwhelming and despite a decent jump over the weekend, the movie couldn't hold the ground during the weekdays. It followed an absurd promotional campaign which couldn't help it generate enough buzz, resulting in a poor show at the box office. ## There is not much gas left in the film to carry and the new releases, despite not being driven by star power, will make its life further harder at the box office. There is Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan is running strongly. Mumbai, March 22 - Ajay Devgn-fronted supernatural thriller Shaitaan has had a very good second week at the domestic box office, dropping just around 55% from the opening frame and also going past the 100 crores net mark. ## Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan scored approximately 34.50 crores net in the second week, pushing the total collection to over 114+ crores in 14 days. The movie is currently the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2024 and is looking to finish over 150 crores in India net. ## At the overseas box office, the movie has so far minted an estimated 30 crores as worldwide total crossed 165 crores gross. The war of words between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk continues to escalate. Punk is set to return to Raw next week, but before he does, McIntyre has taken another jab at his rival. ## Following Punk's recent training video post, McIntyre uploaded his own workout video on Twitter. The video features McIntyre lifting weights while Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" blasts in the background. ## This song choice is a clear reference to the reported backstage altercation at AEW All Out that led to Punk's departure from the company. The quote "Have a nice flight in," allegedly uttered by AEW Young Bucks member Jack Perry, is said to have been the spark that ignited the incident. ## McIntyre's caption simply reads "Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago," adding fuel to the already fiery feud.
