Dom tried to toss him, but Punk reversed the move, resulting in Dom's elimination. Priest then attacked Punk from behind, leaving him laid out. ## Ricochet entered at number 28, showcasing some impactful moves but ultimately falling victim to a clothesline from Damian. Mumbai, January 25 - After a decent opening day collection of approximately 22.50 crores net, Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand's Fighter has witnessed a massive turnaround on Republic Day as collection jumped by around 70% which is excellent. ## A more than 50% jump was a must for Fighter on the second day to take advantage of the holiday after the decent start, but here, the film showed a huge improvement over the opening day as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 38 crores net. ## The positive word of mouth showed its effect as mass centres scored big jumps as a collection in some of the centres doubled up from the first day. Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's action drama Animal, which marked the duo's maiden collaboration, has started playing on Netflix, but not before setting new box office benchmarks for Indian cinema.## Animal was released on December 1, 2023, and instantly caught the moviegoers' attention despite the criticism from a section of society for the subject of the movie. The movie was censored with adult adult-only certificate and despite age restrictions, it opened to historic numbers at the box office by taking the opening of 76 crores gross (63.80 crores net) in India. ## The opening of the film was just a trailer for what was coming next as it went on the score over 200 crores net (240+ crores gross) in the 3-day opening weekend and 337+ crores net (402 crores gross) in the first full week. In Hindi, the movie scored over 300 crores net and became the 3rd biggest net grosser of the first week. ## The box office juggernaut of Animal continued in the second week in which the movie grossed 167 crores (139 crores net) with a drop of under 60%, followed by another rock-solid hold in the third week with 65 crores gross (54.50 crores net). Animal had a big drop in the 4th week due to the arrival of Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Prabhas-fronted Salaar, but since then, the movie showed strong legs and remained steady for the next couple of weeks. ## The steady performance of the film eventually helped the original Hindi version to go past the magical milestone of 500 crores net, making it only the 5th film after Baahubali, Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan to achieve the feat. ## The movie has now almost finished its box office journey with a domestic gross collection of 660 crores. Overseas, the movie did excellent business to score over 250 crores. On Thursday night, a statement from a spokesperson representing Vince McMahon was released, signaling McMahon's intent to confront the troubling allegations presented earlier in the day through a new lawsuit. Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, is suing McMahon, WWE, and former executive John Laurinaitis, alleging "physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking" during her tenure with the company.## McMahon's team communicated the following to various media outlets:## "This lawsuit is filled with falsehoods, fabricated incidents that never occurred, and a malicious distortion of the truth. He will vehemently defend himself."## Grant, who had previously received a $3 million settlement intended as hush money from McMahon, leading to a WWE Board of Directors investigation in 2022, claims she was only paid $1 million. She seeks to annul the agreement and pursue unspecified financial damages, also asserting that the Board did not reach out to her during their inquiry, despite her willingness to cooperate.## Earlier on Thursday, TKO released a statement acknowledging the "horrific allegations" and addressing the matter internally, despite the alleged incidents predating the UFC/WWE merger that formed TKO.## Among the explicit details disclosed in the lawsuit, Grant contends that McMahon promised "personalized sexual content" to a former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE talent they aimed to re-sign in 2021, reportedly identified as Brock Lesnar by The Wall Street Journal.## As per The Wall Street Journal report:## "The suit claimed McMahon shared explicit photos with the star, stating 'he likes what he sees.' After the star agreed to a new WWE contract, McMahon texted Grant in August 2021 to say 'that part of the deal was f—ing U.'"## In December of the same year, McMahon allegedly provided Grant's personal cellphone number to the WWE star, who then requested a video of her urinating. Following her compliance, he derogatorily referred to her as a "b—." The suit further claimed that the star expressed a desire for a "play date," disrupted by a snowstorm. ## According to the lawsuit, McMahon and Grant were introduced while residing in the same apartment building.
