Mumbai, April 24 - Zack Snyder's epic space opera film Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver was the number one movie worldwide on Netflix's top 10 chart, but it failed to match the opening weekend numbers of its predecessor Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire which was released in December last year. ## Released on April 19, Rebel Moon 2 scored 44.2 million viewing hours from 21.4 million views in its first 3-day weekend. It generated 10.5% lower viewership than the first movie which scored 54.1 million viewing hours from 23.9 million views in its opening weekend.## Just like the first part, the sequel also opened to terrible critics' reviews while audience reception was also not encouraging which restricted it to below the first movie. The first movie managed to stay in Netflix's top 10 viewership chart for 5 weeks (including April 15 - April 21, 2024) during which it scored 78.4 million full views. ## The film takes place on the moon of Veldt where Kora and the crew of warriors venture to help the farmers to defend and fight for their home against the Motherworld. Zack Snyder's 'Rebel Moon' To Release As Two Films, Including A Director's Cut

Los Angeles, June 7 - Filmmaker Zack Snyder is currently working on his next film Rebel Moon, an epic space adventure about a young woman who is trying to save her community from imminent destruction. The movie, boasting a solid cast, will hit Netflix on December 22 this year. ## "Rebel Moon" is the most anticipated Netflix film and the good news is, Snyder will split it into two parts, along with two cuts (including a director's cut). During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the "Justice League" director reveals his plans to make two versions of the movie.## "The first version of Rebel Moon to hit screens will be a fantasy adventure that anyone can enjoy and watch. The later cut will be strictly for adults. I think for fans of mine and people who are ready to take a deeper, harder dive, that'll be fun for them", he said.## Meanwhile, the movie will also have its sequel since there might not be enough time to tell the whole story in a single movie. The second part, however, won't be released too long after the first part (December 22). Just like its predecessor, the sequel will also come with an alternate cut meant to be seen by an adult audience.## The release date for the second part is not revealed yet. "It won't be long after. Warner Bros. Pushes Back The Release Dates of 'Aquaman' And 'Shazam' Sequels Again

Los Angeles, August 25 - Warner Bros. Pictures is once again pushing back the release dates of its most-awaited sequels to Aquaman and Shazam! in another major development at the studio within a month. ## Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the highly-anticipated superhero sequel, directed by James Wan, has been pushed to Chrismas 2023 from March 17, 2023. The new release date is exactly one year later than the original release date of "Aquaman 2" in 2022. ## The sequel to a $1+ billion grosser movie will see the return of Jason Momoa as the titular superhero, as well as Patrick Wilson's Orm Marius and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta. It was recently revealed that Ben Affleck's Batman will also return for Aquaman 2.## Meanwhile, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will take "Aquaman 2's" date on March 17, 2023, after getting pushed back from December this year, avoiding the clash with James Cameron's potential all-time biggest grosser "Avatar: The Way of Water". ## The sequel to "Shazam", which was released in 2019 and grossed $366 million worldwide, stars Zachary Levi in the titular role, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren. Los Angeles, April 20 - Zack Snyder has begun the filming of his next directorial, "Rebel Moon", which he has co-written with Kurt Johnstad. The sci-fi adventure movie is being made for Netflix, which also premiered Snyder's "Army of the Dead" and "Army of Thieves". ## On Wednesday, the filmmaker took to Twitter and shared three behind-the-scenes pics from the first day of shooting.
