The film will begin its principal photography in London on September 1, 2026, with the first schedule expected to continue until the end of October. The project, which promises a high-stakes aviation and rescue story, is being positioned as one of Aaryan's more ambitious departures from his recent filmography. Captain India will be directed by Shimit Amin, best known for acclaimed films including Chak De! India and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. The film is inspired by the real-life evacuation of Indian citizens from a war-torn country and will see Aaryan portraying a pilot at the centre of the dangerous rescue mission.
