Team India captain Virat Kohli won the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Award for ICC Men's Cricketer of the Decade. Virat also bagged the ICC men's ODI Player of the Decade award for his prolific record in the 50-over format.## Virat Kohli was the highest run-getter during the awards period with 20,396 runs across formats. He also scored the highest numbers of centuries (66) and fifties (94) in the decade in all three formats. In ODIs, Virat remains the only player to score over 10,000 runs with 39 hundred and 48 fifties at an average of 61.83. ## "My only intention was to make winning contributions for the team and I just strive to do that in every game. Australia's Steve Smith won the ICC men's Test Player of the Decade award who scored 7040 runs at an average of 65.79 which is the highest among the top 50 batsmen. While the Men's teams dominated by the Indian and England players, Women's team in both ODI and T20I show the most presence of the Australian players. ## Among the Indian woman players, Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami featured in the ODI team. The ODI skipper of team India, Mithali Raj is the leading run-getter in the format with 6888 runs in 209 matches she played at an average of 50.64 with 7 hundred and 53 half-centuries. Kohli made his Test debut in 2011 against the West Indies. Since then, he has gone on to score 7,318 runs from 87 matches.## On the other hand, Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020. He made his T20I debut in 2006, against South Africa. The former India captain scored 1,617 runs, in 98 matches, at a strike rate of 126.13. In the ODI format, Dhoni made his debut in 2004 against Bangladesh. Emraan Hashmi recalls how working in Oscar-winner, Danis Tanovics' film 'Tigers' changed him as an actor and took his image beyond being a commercial hero in Bollywood. ## "Tigers gave me the opportunity to experiment with my acting capabilities and discover an unbeaten path to prove my mettle. It was an immersive experience to be a part of a project where the cast and crew are from two different worlds, and putting up a great film for the rightful cause", he said. ## Working with Tanovic, whose 2001 Bosnian film 'No Man's Land' won the Best Foreign Film Oscar, Emraan said that the director helped him polish his craft and gain new perspectives. He is happy that over the years, the movie has garnered a good response in the international festival circuit.## The story of the film is based on true events, and it casts Emraan as a Pakistani medical representative who discovers his multinational employers' baby food is killing hundreds of children.## The film released in 2018 and the actor said working on the project changed his perspective. "I believe that niche cinema has a greater capacity to polish you as an artist as well as a human. I absolutely love doing massy films and full-on entertainers but I would like to strike a balance between the two", Emraan said.## "Lately whatever projects that have been offered to me were out of the box. Actor Harshvardhan Kapoor got a chance to share screen space with his father Anil Kapoor in the new film AK Vs AK, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.## Harsh Varrdhan plays a fictionalized hyperactive version of himself in Vikramaditya Motwane's film that stars Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap as versions of their real selves in a fictional story.## "I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Vikramaditya Motwane again. who is one of the finest filmmakers we have, the scenes we shot were completely crazy and a lot of fun", Harsh said.## "It was great working with dad and Anurag for the first time and I got to learn a lot from them. It was recently revealed that Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan has been approached by Disney+Hotstar to play the lead role in the Hindi adaptation of the British TV series, "The Night Manager". Now, as per the latest development, the superstar has signed the show and will begin the shooting for it in March next year. ## According to the reports, Hrithik has signed on the dotted line and will kick it off almost after two years of his last release, War. The Night Manager will see him playing the role of a luxury hotel night manager and former Indian soldier who is recruited by a government agent to infiltrate the inner circle of a ruthless arms dealer.## As reported, Hrithik is apparently being paid a whopping 75 crores for what would be his debut on the OTT platform. The show is reportedly being planned on a large scale and will be as stylish as the original that starred Tom Hiddleston, who is widely known for playing supervillain Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. ## Marathi film, Chumbak director, Sandeep Modi, who also co-directed Sushmita Sen starrer "Aarya" with Ram Madhvani earlier this year, is on board to helm the OTT debut series of Hrithik. Modi will start the pre-production for this project after finishing the work on the second season of Aarya. ## Meanwhile, on the other hand, Hrithik Roshan has also reportedly been approached to star in the Hindi remake of Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan starrer Tamil movie, Vikram Vedha that will go on floors in the second half of next year. Actress Janhvi Kapoor who played the title role in the biopic Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl earlier this year, says the film helped her understand herself better as an actress.## "Through this film, I've understood myself better as an actor. It's given me a different sense of confidence and, maybe it's because of the impact Gunjan madam's story and resilience has had on me. I have learned to enjoy the process of growth", the actress said.## "I have always wanted to do memorable work and touch people's lives because I know how much cinema has touched my life.
